Excellent food & service!!
Love firehouse but why is the door locked with employees and their kid inside at 3:45 pm? Soon as we try the door, find it locked and we walk away female employee walks out with her kid to smoke a cigarette 🤔

Firehouse Subs Decatur offers a great variety of sandwiches, with the Hook and Ladder being a favorite. The staff is friendly and can customize any sandwich. The restaurant supports local firefighters, making it a worthwhile visit. It is also kid-friendly, with sports on TV and a nearby video game store. The strip mall location provides ample parking. However, some customers have experienced longer wait times, especially if orders are called in.
The eatery is described as eclectic, with customers visiting several times and then not returning for months. Regardless of the staff, the food is always excellent. One customer had trouble using the mobile app but was assisted by a kind employee, and the sandwiches were delicious. However, some staff members could benefit from additional training, as they were not pleased when a customer wanted to place an order before closing.
