The Red Barn building was constructed in 1960 for a recently paralyzed man by locals who donated their labor, and the building shows that with its uneven floors and other quirks. Evidence of the original knob and tube wiring is present via an old fuse box cover in a corner. At some point, the insurance company required that the wiring be updated. So, that's good.

We are traveling by boat and stored in Demopolis and we decided to eat here and we were glad we did! Service was excellent , the food was great and the portions were large. The Cajun Combo, the onion rings, the catfish and the fried pickles all were excellent!

We have had the cheese burger here and it's great. The cheese burgers here are better than anywhere else. The fries are great and they have home made ranch here. We have had the hamburger steak, baked sweet potato and salad as well and it was all wonderful. Highly recommend you try this place.
