“family of 4. Appetizer of fried mushrooms.Two seafood platters and two shrimp platters. Two sides of gumbo ( a kick of sinus opening spices). All were excellent and absolutely delicious. Platters were full with food. No small portions. We could not finish our plates. You will be leaving with a to go box if not two boxes. Will stop by again. If you looking for worth the place to spend your money and enjoy good food. And the service was great and friendly. Give Hunt's resturant a try.“

“My first time there today! How have I ever missed a place like this? Food was GREAT. Funny thing was we got there early and someone was pulling in behind us. They honked because I guess we sat a second too long. They then tried to get their own menus and seat themselves, but were quickly redirected. Seriously people in the little green car, I'd have sent you a drink if you could have managed to be POLITE. At least the servers and food made up for all that. WE WILL BE BACK!!!“

“The food is just wonderful. My wife and I had fried catfish to die for. The coleslaw was superb. Just great hush puppies. The Okra was perfect. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The service was great and everything came out very timely. We will make it our go to place now.“

“This was our first time visiting due to traveling, OUR SERVER KALEY WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She went above and beyond on everything and made sure we were 100% happy. The food was great too, highly recommend“

“This restaurant has gone down hill. It’s so scruffy, shabby and everything is worn out. Your feet stick to the floors in the bathroom. The carpet is dirty. The food has used to be delicious but the last two times the food is unrecognizable from a few months ago. Dry fish, dry coleslaw, fish and chips fry. Baked potato hard. It’s such a shame“

“Amazing food and excellent service! Now, there is usually a bit of a wait when you come, but the food is worth waiting for. I have been a few times and have had a burger, the pork chops, and their 16oz Ribeye and I can tell you I have never left disappointed. In my opinion, their ribeye is the best steak I have had locally. It was seasoned to perfection and exceptionally tender. The bang bang shrimp are also very flavorful and crispy. Come for the food, stay for the dessert! We just about never order desserts at other establishments, but you HAVE to here they are exceptional. They are unique and housemade. The Oreo Cheesecake is particularly divine. The friendly owner and staff make it special. They have always been very attentive and quick to keep drinks full. Like I said, once you make it through the small wait to be seated, you won't be disappointed with your experience.“

“Went for the first time today for the father's day buffet. I can truly say they have ok fried chicken but everything else was horrible.The bourbon chicken tasted as if it were going bad. Not to mention the gnats and flies all over the food. the food was so cheap mostly instant and from a can. highly disappointed. Definitely not going back“

“I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE SINCE I WAS LITTLE WITH MY FAMILY. THEN I HAD A DAUGHTER WHO I TOOK FROM TODDLER TIL NOW AT THE AGE OF 23, OF COURSE WHITNEY MISSES THIS PLACE SINCE SHE IS IN BOSTON MA, WE LOVE SEEING THE LADIES. THE FOOD IS GREAT EVERYSINGLE TIME - JUST MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH.“

“Found another Happy Place! Chris & I eat there 2-3 times a month. Fabulous food. Haven’t had anything bad. Favorites are gumbo, red beans & rice, catfish, grouper and their egg rolls—yup you heard it here. Fantastic, homemade by Momma, you gotta try! Go for lunch or early dinner; they close at 7pm. Almost forgot-go on Friday and they have homemade beignets!!!“
