“The atmosphere was nice but the food was not all that. The food at home is much better at our regular barbecue place. The peach cobbler was dry and the crust was super thick. We did not eat it. My husband had the coleslaw. He said the coleslaw was dry and the ribs were okay which is what he had. The service however, was wonderful. The two ladies that were up front were very friendly and very talkative“

“In my opinion, today’s food was awful. My grill quarters that I purchased as a take home meal was still pink on the inside as if it was rushed on the grill. They were out of a few items on menu. Lastly, what makes the taste of the chicken is the sauce that wasn’t even placed in the bag. I have had better but it was something about today. However, my son’s ribs in his opinion were burnt and just wasn’t good. I will return in hopes that the food is better.“

“We stopped here on our way home from Florida back to Texas as an exhausted family of 5 with a 1 and 3 year old that were over being stuck in the car. The entire staff and the other patrons were all absolutely wonderful, patient, and understanding of the absolute chaos that we were. Thank you so much to everyone there! The food was also wonderful! My husband was completely shocked at the portion size of the ribs and the pulled pork was absolutely mouth watering.“

“First, this place has some seriously good BBQ! We ate here on a Sunday in February 2024, and it was great! Don't let the look of the building fool you, tasty BBQ waits inside. We had a sampler plate, shrimp sandwich, and pork sandwich. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked well, down to the shrimp on the sandwich. Its definitely worth a visit or several.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot. I was driving a bigger truck and actually parked next door in a wide open parking lot.“

“02-07-2025: I came here around 15:30 or so and the parking lot was packed. I was surprised I didn’t have to stand in line; I was seated promptly. My friend, K.N., showed up shortly after. We had an excellent meal and were both very happy. I got the 16 oz. sirloin (medium) with a loaded potato and loaded sweet potato on the side. It was oh so good and cooked to perfection! When we were done eating, the pay-at-the-table electronic device was nice! I absolutely love that convenience and wish all places were like that! I wish I got some pictures of my dinner, but it was too late…lol…maybe next time…..and there will be a next time! :)
