And for a moment, we were back in Hawaii on our honeymoon. My husband and I just drove over from Long Beach, MS to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband and I moved from Southern California and have been searching for Hawaiian BBQ that compares. This place is way better than anything we had before! The owner is such a great guy! He’s from Hawaii, you can tell because it’s so much better than other Hawaiian BBQ we’ve had!He obviously takes pride in the food he cooks and it shows! He gave us samples of the other stuff he offers, which made us more excited to come back. All the meats had amazing flavor, and it’s SO MUCH food for the money. Portion sizes are huge so you definitely have lunch for the next day.
It’s in the back of the VFW building! Interesting location for sure, but there’s tables to eat at!

Just unreal. Truly authentic Hawaiian food; very high quality, incredible taste! There is NO other restaurant like this anywhere in Alabama. Period. Why fly all the way to Hawaii when you can get the real deal in Fairhope! Family run shop, local from Hawaii, this is it. Owner says they cater too; that’s a no brainer for your next event. Can’t wait to be back here!

Where is that sixth star? I need it right now! I can’t say enough about this guy and his food (and everyone that works with him). I’ve had everything on the menu except the short ribs, and I’m shooting for that next week. The beef is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The pork and chicken are phenomenal also, but that beef! Nicest guy in the world, great story, a veteran -thank you for your service sir - and a pleasure to talk to. He even got me to like something I never did before… macaroni salad. He’s that good. I highly recommend Aloha Made BBQ in Fairhope, you will not be disappointed!
