First time at Cafe 98. Ordered the shrimp and grits. It arrived looking appealing and dressed with a cheezy sauce. It was seasoned well and included diced sausage. The service was outstanding with friendly wait staff.
Great breakfast this morning! I ordered the Tomato Benedict and it was wonderful - lots of fresh spinach, great hollandaise, and the eggs were perfectly poached. I had the fruit cup and it was full of fresh strawberries and blueberries. To top it off, there was a fresh orchid! My husband had the sampler platter with pancakes and a variety of breakfast meats that I got to try, too. The pancakes with some of my fruit was a nice addition. Yum! Good coffee to start with, too. Had a great dining experience here. The service was on point. We wanted for nothing and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food it just really kind of underwhelmed us. Was not flavorful. It definitely did not match the atmosphere of the restaurant. Would love to come back and give this a second shot. They might have been having an off day. But if you're looking for a quick bite and a friendly staff, this is definitely a good place to go
