Master Joe's is a great sushi restaurant. After comparing many sushi places online, this place was cheaper than some of the competition, but still higher than the small strip mall places. However, the food was really good. We loved the seaweed salad, The Black Pearl Roll was very tasty, and also the Mississipi Roll was yummy. The gyoza appie was good too! The presentation was artistic and atmosphere was on par with this level and type of restaurant. Jordy was a super nice...
We love this place and usually have great food and good service, for some reason the last time we went the service was terrible. The girl seemed very angry and acted like she hated her job. She was slamming plates on the table when she delivered them and wouldn't say a word to us, just dropped things off aggressively and would walk away . It was so strange. We had guests with us visiting from out of town and we kept telling them how we needed to go here 🤦♀️
High-quality sushi experience in a small, welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location in downtown Fairhope. Nice selection of current pop music playing through the speakers, but quiet enough as to not obstruct conversation. Good service - our drinks were frequently topped off.
