My husband and I celebrated our two years there. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food and drinks were excellent!
Had breakfast there with my son. 2 (small) scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon dripping in grease, grits and a piece of cold toast was $24 EACH!! Plus tax and tip Our breakfast was $60!

I wanted to like this place so much!! Fell short! Went for breakfast and the cashier had no personality was not helpful with any information. We ordered the eggs Benny and the waffles, the bread was so old it crumbled. We left everything on the table and walked out! 40.00 wasted! Left and went to another breakfast cafe in Daphne! Need to work on your help and definitely on your breakfast! Good luck!
The lunch option at the barn is our new mid-day go-to. Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, great friendly service, amazing cocktails! It’s their dinner quality but with better pricing and bigger portions.
Excellent food and coffee! Great spot for breakfast!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner last night on the patio at The Hope Farm! April took such good care of us and explained all of the dishes very well. We loved everything we ordered! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The live music was an added bonus. We love Zack Chavers!
There were three of us. Chicken biscuit, bacon egg and cheese biscuit with fried chicken, and aged Gouda grits. One cappuccino, one mocha iced, and "scenic98" adult drinks. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was open and clean. Can't wait to go back when we visit next time.

Went expecting a barn and had to adjust my expectations quickly. Modern decor in a simple room that is open to the kitchen. It's nice and quite comfortable. Service was excellent - personable, attentive, well-paced. Food was really good. We had lunch - two burgers - which had unique flavors and were perfectly prepared. Glad we went.

At lunch today, I had one of the top ten burgers (Wagyu) ever at The Barn at The Hope Farm in Fairhope. Beverage Director Danny Rivas provided us with great hospitality and service with lunch, including the freshest raw oysters and my new favorite dessert, the XO Cake. The Farm Manager, Dominique, then gave us a tour of their mushroom and hydroponic growing operations, which we really enjoyed. The Hope Farm is a perfect example of a very well run business making both employees and customers satisfied and happy!

I wish the savory (meat) croissants were made more often. Also, it would be nice to be able to call on the phone to find out if they are there. I've grown tired of driving there only to find they are not available, which is most of the time. I love the spicy meat ones, as well as the goat cheese and ham ones. So so so delicious! A little meat in the morning makes the day so much better.I don't really like the other pastries offered too much. I would like a pop tart if it wasn't berry flavored inside. My favorite pop tart of all time as a kid was the cinnamon brown sugar. I would toast them until a little crispy, and melt butter on top, and eat them with a glass of milk.I love sour cream icing white cup cakes. It would be nice if those were made, say on the weekends. It would be nice if smaller healthy cookies were available. Whenever I get one (they are good) I end up eating the whole thing, and that isn't very healthy. I have no self control. I have zero problems with regulating my alcohol intake, but a lot of problems with sweets and carbs. I can't stop once I start. That's why I am fat. I'm trying very hard to lose weight.I also wish that organic flour was used on some of the items. I am allergic to glyphosate (Round Up type pesticide, everyone is allergic to it, ha). Glyphosate is in all non gmo flour these days, and not just a little. Glyphosate is used to control weeds, AND to dessicate the leaves before harvest, AND as pest control in the silos. That's a ton of Round Up, when all of those (inappropriate) uses are put together. I think it is being done on purpose because it is so widespread and so counterintuitive health-wise, aside from its original stated purpose, which was weed control (even though weeds develop immunities and then require higher and higher strength glyphosate to control them). As for why our wheat grain is being laced so inappropriately, that's anyone's guess. One possibility might be to increase the need for medical care. Yes, Round Up in food tends to send people scurrying to their doctors, ha. And this, in turns, feeds the enormous medical industry. It's time to say STOP! No more glyphosates!Organic flour often doesn't have any, especially if the flour is not wheat. Wheat alternatives rock! A lot of people think they are "gluten intolerant" when, in reality, they are merely glyphosate intolerant. Glyphosate wreaks havoc on the gut brain as well, and this can lead to "mental fog." If Hope Farm makes the effort to use organic flour in some of its offerings, say so!Put it on the menu (say, "OF" asterisk after the food item, and then at the bottom of the page *Organic Flour explained). Going this extra mile will make Hope Farm stand out in Fairhope! Hardly anyplace here uses organic flour. For instance, I can tell by how I feel after eating at Warehouse that management uses cheap unhealthy flour in everything. Hope Farm's flour is already better than that for sure, but not the "best it can be."Buckwheat baked goods are so delicious and so are Japanese style buckwheat noodles. Buckwheat is the healthiest grain. Thomas Jefferson promoted it widely. You can get Bob's Red Mill Buckwheat flour to make stuff with.I realize that having standard "drip" decaf coffee is asking a lot but it would be nice instead of having to wait for a handmade alternative that busies the baristas needlessly. If not a lot of people ask for decaf, then an in-house cold brew offering would be ideal. I would rather have a cold brew decaf then wait for a hot Americano barista made alternative (even though I usually prefer hot, unless it's the hottest time of year).A pour over kit would be really cool. All it takes is a handheld metal filter held over a coffee cup! Or have the barista hand pour-over it right in front of the customer! Too cool! And so fast when compared with Americano from the machine! There's nothing like a pour over cup of coffee. It's so visual and charismatic for a customer t

We dropped in on our way through Alabama and had an absolutely delicious meal. Highly highly recommend. It was busy with a nice atmosphere even on a freezing Wednesday night
DINING THRU THE ALPHAPET!!!We are exploring new restaurants as we work our way through the alphabet. The only rule, it must be a new place we have never experienced.REVIEW of THE BARN:If you're looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere, look no further! The moment you walk through the doors, you'll be greeted with warm and inviting ambiance. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. And of course, the food is absolutely delicious! From the appetizers to the entrees, every dish is expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.Farm-to-table is a growing trend in the food industry that emphasizes the use of locally-sourced, organic ingredients in cooking. The Barn implemented this concept beautifully by growing and serving their own produce (see pics for hydroponic gardens). This allows control over the freshness of their ingredients, resulting in healthier and more flavorful dishes.REVIEW of FOOD DISHES:Today we enjoyed a few items from the menu.Farmhouse Salad: Delightful fresh salad using hydroponic greens, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers. The pepper ranch dressing is what makes this dish special, adding a unique and flavorful twist to the salad.Airline Chicken: Chosen because of gluten free option. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The piperade (sauteed peppers, onions) adds a delicious sweetness and depth to the dish. Caper butter adds just the right amount of richness bringing the flavors all together for a perfect bite.Seasonal Fish Tacos (Mahi Fish): Fish tacos are a always a delicious experience from the flaky fish to zesty flavor of the salsa, every bite is a treat. However, be prepared that with the 3 tortillas it seemed to be a small portion (refer to picture). Despite the portion these are a great option."Healthy" Cookie: If you're looking for a healthy snack that doesn't sacrifice taste, this is for you. The dark chocolate and cocoa nibs added a rich, decadent flavor without being too overpowering.WOULD WE RETURN?Yes, the food hit the spot leaving us satisfied.

First, let me say The Barn @ Hope Farms is a beautiful place. Just pure modern elegance. I hate to even have to write this review, but this is how restaurants stay on top of things when the service is not up to par. I ordered pick up this morning and spent close to $40 on my order. When I first arrived, the hostess was very polite and directed me to where I needed to go to pick up my food. I walk over to the counter and I stand there. The guy making the coffee did speak very dryly, but that's all he done. So I stand there for about 8 minutes, then the hostess comes to me and asked was I picking up a to go order? I told her yes and she said ok. They'll be right with you. Very nice young lady. Again, the guy behind the counter is still slowly making coffees for the two customers at the bar. By this time I had been waiting and standing there for about 12 minutes. Mind you a waiter and what appeared to be a manager, passed by me and continued waiting on their customers in and outside the patio. No biggie right? They weren't too busy, but someone needed to wait tables. I can just remain invisible. So the gentleman finishes the couples coffee and then he proceeded to clean the machine. Still hasn't asked how could he help me.Again, I've been just standing here patiently waiting as if I am invisible. After he finishes cleaning machine, he asks me, do you have an online order? Duh! Had I not, I would've been even more angry. A few minutes after that Im guessing someone brought him my order, and he just placed it on the counter. I had to ask if it was my order. I ordered a coffee with my order too, so I just stand there again with no acknowledgement. Again, I had to ask the gentleman are you making my coffee? To that he gave a dry yes. Once it was made, rather than handing my cup to me, it was slid on the counter, the same way my order was. He wasn't friendly and very dry. There was no appreciation for me taking the time to use my gas and money to support this establishment. Im not going to give the reason I feel behind it, but this is not the first time I've had a bad experience with this establishment. If it had not been so bad, I never would've wrote this review, but I saw how others in the restaurant were being treated so kindly and with dignity and respect and here I am being treated as if I wasn't even standing there! Had it not had been for the hostess being so polite, I would've gave it a 1 star. Please put the right people on the front line that will treat everyone that spends money with your restaurant like they matter and are appreciated.

We had a superb dinner at the Hope Farm. Although it was busy and we sat in the bar area, it was very pleasant throughout. The food was fabulous, the service was friendly, efficient and professional. Ian, our waiter, did a great job despite having many tables to attend to. My wife had the short rib, which was outstanding. I tried the hanger steak, which was prepared perfectly, and had excellent flavors and tenderness. Just great food. We also had the mushroom toast appetizer which was a very generous amount of shrooms. The food is pricey, but one of the best meals we have had this year. We thought it was worth it, and it is by far the best restaurant for fine dining in Fairhope. The wine list was expensive. We did find one we liked, but the list is definitely overpriced.
Scotch Class was fantastic. Great selection of scotch and a nice talk by the lead mixologist.
