Only rating atmosphere a 2 cause they place hasn't been updated or renovated since the 90's. Our trip on 10-1-2025 they was under staffed and over worked had plenty of people coming in the door to have so few workers.
We love captain D's but yesterday's meal was not the best. The fish was tough, the fries were over cooked and the slaw had a wang..the cashier was hard of hearing we had to repeat ourselves a lot and the Pepsi machine broke while getting our first fill up...they need a better selection of drinks & newer machines. The crunchies tasted of old grease. The clam strips were good.
I just want to take a minute and brag on the young man that was at the window last night, he was so polite and had a smile on his face the whole time, I know the atmosphere and I’m so impressed with him. After everything I said it was yes ma’am or no ma’am. All I have to say is great job young man. I believe his name is Ladrevon. Of course my food was great too! Nobody wants to do compliments anymore just complaints but this young man deserves some recognition!
