I have no idea what the food taste like because I didn't get my order. The service was awful. The FB page said they did curbside so I called and my first question was do you do curbside. I was told yes by a female. I placed my order and drove to pick it up. Only to be told by an extremely rude man with an attitude problem he didn't do curbside and didn't know what I was talking about. I explained I called and was told they did. Absolutely nothing on the other end of the phone. I said okay, thank you and left. This is not a good impression at all for a family that just moved into the neighborhood. You always hear eat and shop local which I normally do but, I will not be giving these folks any of my business. By the way I got lunch from a food chain and they offered me service with a smile.

Hands down, best BBQ in the area. Even better than the place that people rave about in Decatur. I've not found BBQ ANYWHERE within 100 miles that is this good. I just wish they were open more often.

The only negative about Sledge's BBQ is the hours of operation and possibly finding it but with regards to the food sledges barbecue is the best of the shoals. The seasoning and the taste is everything you would want in barbecue and although it's small and locally owned you will be hard pressed to find a better barbecue restaurant anywhere.Whether it's brisket, barbecue, chicken, or ribs sledges barbecue does an excellent job on each.
