I went in store to purchase a gift card for a friend. This was my first time ever going to this establishment, but I'm sure it won't be my last. The dining there is very relaxed and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely going to try them out for lunch one day soon!

There are great places that never leave you disappointed and then there's those few places that always amaz you. This is one of those places. If it's on the daily special's board it's special and I'd highly recommend going with it. The atmosphere has a pleasantville vibe along with the owner who normally greats you and takes your order. The open view kitchen let's you see the process of turning ordinary ingredients into incredible dishes. Top lunch spot in Florence.

Went with a friend. Food was oversalted. Everything. Chicken salad. Even pimento cheese was salty. Broccoli salad over salted and had stems in it. Very disappointed for the price. Cute place. Has potential .

Sweet Basil was everything I wanted in a restaurant. The ambiance was cozy, bright, cheerful, and private where I chose to sit. The staff was polite, accommodating, and informative. I ordered the Sweet Basil Sampler lunch. The portion size was perfect and the food presentation and taste were appetizing. The menu prices were competitive and affordable for me.
Their menu might be best because they have a variety of soups, sandwiches, and salads, even a kids-size meal. And they have a Weight Watchers special.
I am not able to recommend an entree because it is my first visit in 7 years, not sure what I ate before. I did note that the broccoli while tasty was served to me lukewarm. I intend to return to this location soon to try their other options.

Pretty good, but we had to stand in line a long time, even though there were only a few people ahead of us. The chalkboard menu has no prices, and I thought the food was a little more expensive than I would have expected. The chicken salad scoop on a lettuce leaf was pretty good but came with only two crackers, which I thought was stingy. My husband liked the red white and blue salad but not the spaghetti casserole special, as the sauce overpowered the ingredients, making everything taste the same.

$46 we got 2 sandwich plates with a side and one half sandwich with a side. The sandwiches were good but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. I was shocked at the price when I went to pay. I guess I should’ve looked into it a bit more. And these meals did not even come with a drink for that price! Actually from the receipt it looks like we were supposed to get a soup that they didn’t even include in our order. I heard great things about this place but it just wasn’t for me.
