“I can’t say enough good things about Smallcakes! We visit Gulf Shores annually to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year we needed to find someone local to get some slices of wedding cake or even cupcakes to keep up a tradition we have. My husband called a dozen places and no one could help. We walk into Smallcakes an hour before they close and the owner popped them in the oven, flash cooked them for us and sent us on our way. I know it sounds small to a lot of people but our tradition is very important to us and it made my whole day! We grabbed cupcakes for our children and everything was a hit. You can tell lots of love goes into their business and we will be back every year!“

“By Walmart standards, it's something of a hidden gem. Crazy busy during the summer, it's relatively quiet, clean and tolerable in the winter. It was remodeled at the end of 2021, despite having a pretty recent remodel just a few years prior.

It's definitely nicer than the one in Foley! There's also a dedicated pick up section on the west side of the building and a modest garden center on the east side.“

“First time Visiting this spot while I was in gulf shores with the family.. friendly people, good selection but pretty tight for bigger vehicles. We had a Tahoe and it was pretty tight with navigation. The place is located right by the main road . It is parking but definitely gotta be careful. Noticed they have a inside area but was pretty packed so we opted for drive through .. prices are high but who’s not these days- all in all I would visit again if/when I’m in this area“
