“I had Deep South provide cakes and sweets for my recent wedding. Shannan was a consummate professional and hit it out of the park with cakes and cookies provided. When I told my wedding planner who we were getting our cake from, her first question to me was “are you getting the caramel cake?”…with that recommendation, who can say no? I also wanted the look of a traditional wedding cake as well so we went for both and I was very satisfied with that decision. I also feel that Shannan didn’t try to make me get more than I needed- we had enough for the reception with a small amount left over (thankfully so because we barely got to have any at our own wedding- we enjoyed it the next morning). Shannan delivered the cake and set it up and such a cute way. One thing I forgot to mention is that I put my faith in the recommendations since I live out of town and never got a chance to try the cake before our big day. The previous recommendations and word of mouth were right and I’m so glad we chose Deep South for our wedding goodies!“

“First trip to orange beach and saw this business was highly recommended. We stopped in before our 6 hour trip back home and we will deff be back!Service was great, the early morning view was beautiful, food… delicious, they had many assortments of sweets (which ill be trying next time) BUT most of all my espresso was made perfectly! Reminded me of my coffee shop at home! I love that actual taste of coffee and they got the espresso/milk ratio perfectly.If i could give this business more than 5 stars i would!“

“A chain from the 80s and 90s is still a top shop in Gulf Shores. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, soft serve, and Mrs. Fields cookies. What more could you want? The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful, and they’re good at working with you to try to get your best “combination” (for example, if you wanted a parfait, they ask what you’re looking to get, and they might recommend making it a “Sundae” instead because that had a different number of toppings). In addition, their sheer amount of flavors and toppings is wonderful, especially these strawberry boba bubbles I’d never seen at an ice cream place before that were soooo good (we got them on our sundae!) We choose the $8.99 make-your-own-sundae, with 2 large scoops and 4 toppings. It was perfect for the two of us and a good price for so much. We had peanut butter frozen yogurt and chocolate frozen yogurt; my wife didn’t think the frozen yogurt was as flavorful, and she couldn’t taste the Peanut Butter, but I liked them both. We had Oreos, Reese’s pieces, the juicy fruit bubbles, and brownie pieces on it. It was really delicious and I would definitely stop here for dessert again, especially compared to the $15 sundaes for half the size across the street!“
