Our first time visiting and we absolutely loved it! Pizza was excellent and the server was amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed and was so kind when we asked to stay and listen to music for a while. This will definitely be a go to the next time we visit!
During our stay in Mentone, AL, we had a craving for some good pizza. Checked out a few Google searches and yelp reviews.
We were headed to another home town pizza spot when we ask someone in the parking lot for advice. They suggested we try Mater’s just down the road.
Nice spot in the downtown district. Exposed brick walls and “bar pie” feel. We were seated quickly and ordered our appetizer promptly.

Our service was excellent! Branson was an awesome waiter. The BBQ Pizza was delicious! We ordered a 10 inch. Enough left over for cold pizza for breakfast. Yum! As with most restaurants, they could use more workers. Branson did a great job handling it though 👏 👍! Would recommend
