FINALLY!! Passed this place a while back (closed) and didn’t realize it was in operation. Then 3 and 1/2 weeks ago, I googled Valley Head restaurants and have been trying to get there to try the ribs ever since. We seem to have caught all the closed Saturdays lol, but since hubby was off on a Thursday, we went for lunch. The picture doesn’t do justice, those ribs are FINE! If you want the best ribs…Head to the Rib Shak! My husband and I make a special trip to The Shak when in the area. Great food and great service. The owners are wonderful and always come and chat when we visit. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best bbq. The owner is super nice & very friendly every time we go to eat. The place is always super clean & I love the little touches they put on the to go boxes. It's great to see how much they appreciate our business. I wish more places were like that.
