Rusty Barrel Saloon and Grub

Would be a great place if bartenders wasn’t getting drunk! The bartenders choose who they like and who they don’t like and prevents the business from making money. I have been to multiple bars and have never had issues out of the bartenders but here at the rusty barrel I have had that problem and have been there only 3 times. Why I don’t know nor do I understand. This place needs better service. With bartenders who don’t drink while working and bartenders who don’t judge by someone’s looks I’m assuming. These two girls will ID THE WOMEN BUT NOT THE MEN. Why? You should ID everyone regardless. This place would be an amazing spot but fights constantly break out 3 I seen tonight because of a bartender who was actively drinking in the back parking lot. And one bartender is just utterly rude and hateful. I could not see me spending money here again over poor customer service and spending time at a fighting rink when the bartenders are the main problem! This place needs better service and new bartenders or needs to be gone out of Fort Payne! I have lived here my whole life and I have never dealt with this type of behavior here.

Bar tender was great after she got drunk,food definitely needs work,frozen pizza is terrible,was very disappointed in the hype that is on Google about the place, definitely needs a lot of improvement

Was really hoping to like this place and we loved everything but the food. If you avoid the food (at least after 8p, not sure about earlier), you’ll love it. Had great live music, service was good, but we sincerely regretted ordering food before the kitchen closed. Uncooked fries and only half the bbq sandwich had a trace of meat. Just eat before you get here and you’ll be fine.

I went there today and the lady was very rude. She said excuse you more than twice, like I did something wrong. Im just looking for food and a good atmosphere this is not it. Cute place. But Sandra was rude and unwelcoming. I do not recommend.

Great addition to downtown Fort Payne. Wish there were more eclectic pubs and restaurants in the area. Lots of atmosphere good people and vibes. Karaoke on Sunday was a hoot. Great Reuben too!

Attentive service food was delivered considerably fast for the crowd there. The one beer I managed to finally find out was on tap was good. The server wasn't knowledgeable about craft beer and there was no menu to search for myself to make a choice. The Chicken Quesadilla had no real seasoned taste and the BBQ wrap had so much sauce you couldn't taste the pork. The garlic cheesy chicken wrap was great. Extremely reasonable prices.Then it was karaoke night and music was loud and multiple people talking loud enough for the entire bar to hear everything they said singing was on point just needed down about 3 notches. I'll definitely be back when it's not as crowded for a second opinion.

Not much of a place unless you plan to get sloppy drunk. If you do, then this is your place. Have at it. Go early before stupidity arrives

Great addition to downtown Fort Payne! Reuben sandwich is my go to. Lots of options on the menu. (which are all reasonably priced). The owners and staff work hard to make sure you have a good experience. Plenty of tvs for your viewing pleasure. Live music in the evenings featuring local and regional talent.
