Rusty Barrel Saloon and Grub

This place has went down hill since the new owners got it. In the past, you could drive by on a Saturday night and the place would be absolutely packed now if you do the same, the place is barely busy at all. Rusty barrel used to have a really great vibe and crowd and overall great experience but now it’s totally different and I doubt it’ll ever be the same. Used to be a regular but doubt I’ll ever be back.

If I could give a half star I would they took a tip off my card without me telling them to so be prepared to get stollen from if you open a tab there

Been a regular for a bit, normally have good music and a friendly crowd but last night it was just tons of extremely vulgar (not talking about cussing) rap music and lots of people that didn't even look 21 and some were even making tiktoks at the bar area. Really felt like it lost the vibe the place had, hoping it returns to normal.

Great place to grab a few drinks while in downtown Fort Payne. We didn't get to try to the food but the service was great and the tables and bar area were clean.

Ain't nobody gettin Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, and Campylobacter up in the Barrel. That burger was pretty good, but the beef was COOKED. Still, I supporte local much as possible and I will be back. Stop in and holler at Aspen, she's a sweetie.

I love the atmosphere here good live music form local artists. Good food and drink prices best in town. Try the grill bacon ranch wrap with fries.

Would be a great place if bartenders wasn’t getting drunk! The bartenders choose who they like and who they don’t like and prevents the business from making money. I have been to multiple bars and have never had issues out of the bartenders but here at the rusty barrel I have had that problem and have been there only 3 times. Why I don’t know nor do I understand. This place needs better service. With bartenders who don’t drink while working and bartenders who don’t judge by someone’s looks I’m assuming. These two girls will ID THE WOMEN BUT NOT THE MEN. Why? You should ID everyone regardless. This place would be an amazing spot but fights constantly break out 3 I seen tonight because of a bartender who was actively drinking in the back parking lot. And one bartender is just utterly rude and hateful. I could not see me spending money here again over poor customer service and spending time at a fighting rink when the bartenders are the main problem! This place needs better service and new bartenders or needs to be gone out of Fort Payne! I have lived here my whole life and I have never dealt with this type of behavior here.

Bar tender was great after she got drunk,food definitely needs work,frozen pizza is terrible,was very disappointed in the hype that is on Google about the place, definitely needs a lot of improvement
