We were looking for a coffee shop on our way home from a weekend in Mentone and found this little gem. Everything about this place was perfection. I had the Butter Walnut Sweet Cream Latte and my husband had the Snickerdoodle Latte. Both from the Seasonal drink menu, and they were absolutely delish. The coffee has low acidity and my choice wasn’t too sweet - making this one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. We also had pastries that were super too. Overall 10/10 experience.

Stopped here for breakfast while passing through, and honestly, I wish we hadn’t. Paid $14 for a “breakfast bowl” that had three paper-thin slices of avocado, maybe a teaspoon of black beans, some raw bagged spinach, and a dollop of sriracha-mayo. That’s it. The portion and quality do not remotely justify the price.
On top of that, they asked for a tip before we were even served, which felt completely inappropriate. I get that options might be limited in this area, but I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money here. Glad we were just passing through. 👎👎👎

A wonderful experience, and the best coffee I’ve had recently: I had the apple crisp latte. Their syrups are homemade, and I’m still blown away by the taste. It’s like a Fall hug in a cup. Absolutely loved the cream cheese danish and the strawberry white chocolate scone. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. ❤️ This will be The Spot next time I find myself in Ft. Payne.
Edited to add: ended up taking a couple of bakehouse cookies to go and didn’t make it far before biting into one. Shortbread with buttercream icing. It gave me goosebumps it was dang good. 😭🤣😂

The coffee was delicious. Warm and friendly staff. But the meal!! Fresh, yummy and would absolutely go again. The avocado toast was perfection. And the breakfast croissant was just as good. Take a friend like I did so you can share and get two items with no guilt! Thanks for a great brunch.

Paid 7 dollars for a matcha that was mostly milk. Food was ok, they just need to add another scoop of matcha. I get charging extra for expensive brands but this is just stingy. This was my first time in and unfortunately am not impressed. Matcha is not supposed to be this light in color. This drink cost almost as much as a meal! At least the customer service was very nice.
