Three of us went with high expectations Two were well satisfied with Grouper and Lobster meals, I had a rib eye steak that was so tough that I was unable to eat. The manager comped the meal quickly with an apology, Believe this was a rare occasion and appreciate the way it was handled.
We went to Jesse's on the Bay for lunch and ate outside on the upper deck, which was great! Our server was good, but it took a long time to get our food. The Calamari appetizer was cold. It should have been at least warm. It was also overcooked and hard to chew. Although the flavor was good, it was NOT enjoyable to eat. The shrimp tacos were just ok. I told the waiter about the Calamari, and instead of bringing us a fresh cooked plate of Calamari, he took $17, the price of...
Absolutely excellent meal. Thoughtful menu, professionally executed. Our server was attentive and we never went without, despite the restaurant being very busy. Also, a fantastic bourbon selection. We go to the Beach Club in Fort Morgan every year, and the one thing it lacks its quality restaurants nearby. Thankfully Jesse’s is there now. We will be coming in every trip down for sure now, probably multiple times!
