About The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a popular spot known for its variety of options and great atmosphere. Many visitors praise its amazing pizza, especially the large three topping pizza with bell peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes, which has been enjoyed multiple times during trips. The restaurant is noted for its consistent quality, with pizza being a hit for both adults and kids. The food generally receives positive comments, with dishes like the shrimp basket and Caesar salad also highlighted as delicious. Service at The Hideaway is often described as wonderful and friendly, with staff being accommodating, kind, and helpful, especially with takeout orders. The location is convenient, especially if staying at The Beach Club, and the place offers outdoor games, making it suitable for larger groups and families. However, some find the menu a bit typical and the prices slightly high for the quality. Parking can be limited, but a trolley ride from The Beach Club is available. The atmosphere is lively, making it a fun place for groups, though it might be a bit cramped for younger kids who could run out of activities quickly. Overall, many consider The Hideaway a highlight of their Gulf Shores visit, recommending it for its good food, great service, and enjoyable environment.

This place was a nice spot with music and TVs. The food was pretty good but nothing that will blow your mind, but overall this restaurant is a good stop to get a somewhat nicer meal.

When you order a 22 dollar Pizza on their online menu it quickly turns into a 28 dollar pizza when they tack on a pick-up fee and then default you to a 20% tip on top of that. Options are limited out here so I can understand a premium however the food itself was extremely greasy and not what I would expect out of a 28 dollar Pepperoni Pizza. Moral of the story is skip this place and drive another 5 minutes into town for more options. Location itself is great and a nice venue.

The 45 min wait was really only 15 min. Pizza and wings were good. Food trucks rocked!
