Big Mike’s Steakhouse Guntersville is a quality place situated in City Harbor right along the lake, offering delicious food and great service. The menu is standard steakhouse fare, with generous portions and perfectly cooked steaks like the rib eyes and pork chop. The crab claws were huge and cooked perfect, and the seafood bisque was over the top with so much seafood. The onion straws appetizer was just okay, and the Cesar salad was good but could be better. The establishment is clean, with a great location on the water and amazing scenery. Expect to pay around one hundred dollars for two people, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Be prepared for a wait, as the restaurant can get busy, but the attentive service and lovely dinner experience make it a place worth returning to. Parking is hard to find in the evening, so it’s best to go early.
