Best pork chop I've ever eaten and I eat pork chops almost every day. You could cut it with a butter knife, and chew it using the roof of your mouth. Very tender, very flavorful. Highly recommend the blackened. 10/10 will be back tomorrow for a second round.

We asked to be seated outside by the water and as soon as we began to eat, someone sat at a table beside us with two giant dogs that smelled to high heaven, and they were very hairy and wagging their tails everywhere. I don’t know why dogs are allowed into a nice restaurant.
We have eating at Big Mike’s in Orange Beach many times and always enjoyed the steak. We ordered the exact same thing as we ordered at Orange Beach, but this steak was tough, very chewy and not good.

Food was good. We went a half hour before close. Waited for fresh bread which was ok- better than bread ready & cold. Meal was tasty. Pricing a bit high for what you got. Service alright nothing special nor bad.

The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The shrimp appetizer was the best I've ever had. Loved looking out at the water during my meal. Will definitely be coming back. We'll worth the wait.

We sat outside because it was perfect weather on this day in late June, 2026. The location is by the lake in a fantastic harbor area of Lake Guntersville. This area seems recently updated and new. Lots of parking. We walked from our hotel. The food was great! The steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly. It's laid back here! It can be a bit pricey, but it's a specialty steakhouse. We'll go back!

Big Mikes on Guntersville lake is always a great treat. Amazing portions of food means an amazing lunch the next day. Never skimp out on the bread and cinnamon butter, it is almost a meal in itself. We love the mozzarella cheese triangles with the house made marinara sauce. This trip I decided to try the fried catfish plate and wow! For the price you get a ton of food. Six large pieces of fish and you get your choice of two sides.
Bring your appetite and get here early especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The wait can be rather long. But while you are waiting you can check out all the other places at City Harbor.

I hate to leave this review, the server was apologetic throughout and did her best but this use to be one of my wife's favorite places to eat steak. Granted we haven't been here since 2024. We came today 7/20/26 and we were highly disappointed. The food quality has went way down while the prices have went way up. Fifty dollar steaks should be mouth watering while these were unpalatable. No flavor no seasoning just bland. Everything from the bread, ceasar salad, and shrimp were just meh. Unfortunately if we would have read the recent reviews we could have saved $150.

Had an outstanding dinner at Big Mike’s Steakhouse on the beautiful Guntersville waterfront! The atmosphere is hard to beat, with incredible views of the lake and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.
I met up with local real estate photographer (and local celebrity 😄) Mike Gardner, and we both ordered the 16-ounce ribeye cooked medium well. Both steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. You could tell they were prepared with care, and we both cleaned our plates without leaving a bite behind.
The grilled asparagus and loaded baked potato were excellent sides, and my margarita was the perfect complement to the meal. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better.
If you’re in the Guntersville area and looking for a great steak with an amazing waterfront setting, Big Mike’s Steakhouse is definitely worth the visit. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town! 🥩🌊🍹
