“My best friend and I met for lunch! The food was very tasty,I ordered the grilled ribeye sandwich and my gal pal had the hamburger steak! We began with oysters, mine raw and her's baked,no problem getting half her way and half my way! Service could have been better when we were finished but actually how can I complain because our check didn't arrive sooner! Looking forward to going back and bringing both our families!“

“The food is usually pretty good but they do not follow directions well regarding customer requests such as what we want on or in the food. And someone puts ketchup in the bag no matter what we order even if it’s something that would never require ketchup. Forget asking for any other sauce because you won’t get it. Just ketchup no matter what you order. The wing special on Wed nights is a good deal and they taste great! Paid extra for cheese one time and literally got a small pinch of cheese like a few shreds and they charged me for that!“

“My wife and I went yesterday. We ordered a centered cut filet and a porkchop. We both agreed that this was the best food we had in a long time. It was a nice quiet environment with class and great service. We can't wait to try the nice menu item by the CHEF.“

“What a great local restaurant to eat some very tasty Cajun cooking. Definitely a place to go for authentic Cajun. Plus they have other good foods as well. It was nice to have a WOW factor again in dining out. Awesome and friendly service. Will be back. (Often)“

“Tonight was our first time eating at the Wharf. it was a very enjoyable experience. We had the loaded fried mushrooms appetizer. It was the best mushroom appetizer we've ever had. Allan had the Wharf Platter and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with grilled asparagus. All was delicious with large portions! Maryellen (the manager), Calab and Alexa (staff) were all very friendly and helpful. They gave us 2 free cards good for fried green tomatoes or a mushroom starter. We will definitely be back!“

“Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing. I decided I'm not a juicy crab seasoning person since their most mild was still too spicy for my acid reflux. So I ordered another lobster with only butter inside. All the food was delicious.“

“Sweet owners with a nice family vibe. The building doesn't give oyster bar vibes from afar, so its small country feel becomes strangely iconic once you consider the changing world around this old Dothan staple. Definitely a great place to sit down and have a good chili dog and convo.“

“The goat fries slaps. The lemon pepper wings slapped me too much. Flavor is definitely not for me. Mango Habanero mmm ?. I thought I wouldn’t like buffalo sauce on the fries since other buffalo sauces are more tangy, but I didn’t get that from the fries. Really good.“

“Today we ate at the bar for half priced appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like being able to try new dishes. My only issue would be : you have to sit AT the bar. I did not ask because it did not apply to me today, but if I were to bring my parents in their 80's I would hope they would accommodate them at a table in the bar area as bar stools are not safe or feasible for elderly.“

“Listen, when I went in there to get my food, I was skeptical, but when I put that food in my mouth, it was like Jesus came down and gave me a kiss on my forehead. It was delicious. The flavor was there. The texture was perfect. The crispiness was extra crispy. I’ve never had fish like this before in my life. What is the best fish place ever? “Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. First time trying the bowl, and I must admit I followed someone else lead, and it was a great pick! “Great service at this place. Our waitress was very vigilant of the table needs and was on top of it, therefore, the 5 stars in this area.I had 10 oz. a ribeye with a sweet potato. The sweet potato was outstanding, on the other hand, the ribeye, not so much. However, to their benefit, I asked for my steak to be cooked with only salt and pepper over butter, avoiding their homemade sauce (mainly because most sauces like this contain sugar which I avoid as I am diabetic). I added more salt at the table and more butter and the meat improved significantly.I also had a side salad which I can rate as "nothing to write home about it." The place and bathrooms were clean. The ambiance was rated a little low because the appearance of an old restaurant was not appealing to me. Perhaps that goes with the place name and if you do not care this area may be a 4 or 5 stars for you.Bottom line, this was my first experience for steak in Dothan, Alabama. The person who recommended the place painted a more spectacular picture of what I got, considering I spent over $40 (maybe my Atlanta trained taste buds are spoiled to more flavourful food ?). Next time I will try other places with steak and will have data for a better comparison.My coworker had seafood and he liked it a lot.“

“Can't figure out why we were ask to wait to be seated. Went back to the bar area and there were 4 tables available.We split the lobsterfest . I had the grilled Atlantic salmon. It was perfect. Even the broccoli was cooked perfectly and was tasty.She had the lobster and loved it. Also had the coconut shrimp. Omg delicious.Service was acceptable.“
