A staple to day the least. Great breakfast and lunch. Don’t let the BBQ tag fool you and don’t shy away from the smoked chicken omelette. Caleb and crew will make you feel at home. Plenty of parking being right across from city hall and social taco.
Had the Monday lunch special today - one of the best hamburger steaks I've ever had! A generous portion, piled w/ onions, 'shrooms, & gravy (which could be its own food group, it's so good). Sides of mashed potatoes, turnip greens, & a piece of cornbread. Delicious! Cleaned my plate! Demetri's will fill you up & treat you right.

Best breakfast in Birmingham, hands down! I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and the food is incredible along with the great service. Best French toast I’ve ever had - also the crushed ice is one of my favorites too. If you’ve never been, GO!
