HOOVER Mr. Chen is so much better!
I’ve ordered so far, 5 different dishes and only one was good, while the rest was below average. Half duck one was too dry, Beef Hoe Fun noodles was too white and under cooked, making them little hard and bland tasting, the Twice Cooke pork belly was the worst, hardly and pork, paper thin sliced, mostly crunchy cabbage and thick dried bland
portobello mushrooms. BUT, I do love the Marked side, except that one time I switch out flash shard when I cooked the bean sprout I go at that Market place.
Think I’ll stick with Red Pearl restaurant.
I’d give it 3.5 stars. Tasty, fast, but a bit on the small side.
Excellent place. Service is superb and friendly.
Ample menu and my two dishes were fantastic. Ambiance is nice and comfortable. Restaurant is inside the supermarket in its own area.
Ordered on - June 16 around 7:30-8 something pm
Had the green apple slushy
try using something called a hairnet when making drinks or food for people and check the cups literally check the inside to make sure it is hair free before using it to make someone’s drink
There was hair in my boba drink the one they usually seal at the top
Like that is disguising and how can you miss that?
Like when putting the boba how did you miss that ?
I really hate having hair in my food or drink it’s what I hate the most in the world it’s disgusting literally even it is my hair in the food I would stop eating it not to talk of a whole strangers hair in my drink so nasty and disgusting and unhygienic
So yeah, this place a NO. I was told my rice was pre cooked so I couldn’t modify it, then when my order came out, my food was placed across from me with no words and he walked off… , server asked was everything good, i said no, i asked if peas and carrots cane in it you said no, and then i couldn’t send the rice back, proceeds to tell me i can eat everything else and pick them out.
Great food, great service!!
Staff was very friendly!!
Best Chinese restaurant in town Authentic Chinese cuisine
The food is good, but a terrible choice for just one or two people. It's family style, so if you want any variety at all, your bill is going to be astronomical.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetables, but not sure how they were prepared.

Too many scam callers working now, not enough real asians. Gives out less rice now with higher menu prices. Waiters take too long to come back to the table. They also need to kick out tables with loud children. Restaurant needs to include vegetables more often, or make it a side option.

Let me start off by saying I wanted to let Mr Chen's know about something I ordered that wasn't very good by email. That was not an option on their website. On 11/27 I ordered Gen Tso's chicken and the Green Beans with minced chicken. The green bean dish was very good but..the Gen Tso chicken not so much. I paid $9 for corn starch and $6 for the chicken part. I need a do over, because I don't like overspending for a whole lot of breading.

This used to be the best Chinese restaurant around and it's def not.
The quality has gone down, the price has gone up.
We came in last night and had dinner around 6/7.
The Mapo Tofu was it's normal-okay. It seemed thinner than it's usual thick sauce tofu was cooked perfectly, but my friends fried rice was bland while also having very undercooked onions which created a very pungant overbearing onion taste in bland rice.
The server was nice but needed to calm a bit with giving us time to read and taking no we don't want appetizers at least the second time lol. Not offensive but maybe new?
The thing that ruined it was the fact that the servers started cleaning the tables directly around us with Windex which unfortunately IMMEDIATELY wofted to us and all we could smell was Windex and I could taste it. Wasn't worth complaining over we decided to just go home and cook the rice up some more and I'd eat the rest after I didnt taste Windex in the air lol.
We got home and unfortunately we could smell it on the food too, at no point do I think the server did it on purpose or actively violently spraying just something that happens with sprays but people are eating and even if they don't taste it, smelling Windex being sprayed RIGHT NEXT TO YOU just ruins the taste of food.
For the money there was regret and we won't be back.
