Otey’s is absolutely our favorite weekly spot. The food is amazing but we go for the people who make it feel like home. Kellie, Kaley, Sarah, Brantley and Martin always go above and beyond every single time. We go to celebrate weddings, birthdays and any other milestones because they celebrate along with us. Otey’s wouldn’t be the same without them!!!

Arrived on a Sat for early dinner and it was packed. There were open tables but no sign or hostess to inform whether it was “to be seated” or “seat yourself”. We ultimately chose seat yourself.
Food was good. Arrived hot and tasted good. Service was tough because it was quite packed.
Atmosphere was tough. Very dark inside and very loud. They were not running live music but the overhead music was too much. Very difficult to have table conversations.

Celebrated our son’s 25th birthday here. Everything was amazing, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. Our servers were Brantley and another gentleman that we did not get his name and both were superb. Even our littles (aged 3-12) had a blast. The food was delicious especially the wings and potato soup. They even had a kids menu and vegan options. We will definitely be back.

Terrible location for an Oteys. There is a residential home 15 yards away from the building. They have big loud bands that I can hear from my lawn on Edgewood Blvd. Why would the owner do this to the residents of EWD. Its inconsiderate and rude. This isn't downtown Birmingham, it's a kid friendly residential community with homes/buildings in close proximity of each other. It works for Crestline because the initial row of houses are further away- not the case with EWD.
Great food and good service. This was my first visit to this location and it will definitely not be my last! Enjoyed a great meal in a cool environment. The wings were excellent and I had too many fries in my “side” order to finish.
Parking: Large public free lot for the area right next to the restaurant. Also plenty of street parking nearby.

Yesterday was my second time coming there & what really brought me there was supposed to be entertainment from a band that we never heard!! I wasn't pleased with the food at all..I ordered Nachos & in my mind when think of Nachos I'm thinking your dipping sauce drizzled over the Nachos.Not a bag of cheese melted on tortilla chips.Just horrible..so I sent them back & got the fried cheese sticks which was cold & hard & nasty.. These are just appetizers not our meal..So the meals come & I ordered chicken fingers & fries..lord why these chicken fingers didn't have any meat..I thought it was potted meat..yall need to change yall meat on chicken fingers just nasty..my boyfriend is the only one enjoyed his meal which he had the club sandwich! & we had to cocktails which was ok but it had more juice...So disappointing ? & want be back!
