Absolutely the worst po boy EVER! SERVICE WAS bad also. Ordered online for 6:45 p.m. pick up. Called restaurant at 6:09 p.m. to change to 7 p.m. got to restaurant at 7:05 p.m. and still had to wait 20 minutes for a shrimp po boy with nasty brown lettuce, no tomato (should have had tomato) ICE COLD shrimp, bread and fries. 4 small pieces of bread with 5 NASTY BROWN, WILTED lettuce leaves literally appeared to be thrown into the go carton with shrimp and fries thrown in other side.When I arrived, the hostess asked my name, then proceeded to wait on 3 tables before even entering the kitchen to check on my orders. 20 minutes later, she goes to kitchen and comes out with someone else's go order.Most unacceptable and unappetizing meal ever.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! My waitress, Auburn, was awesome! Sat on the patio. They had a heater going for those who may be a bit chilly, but it was a nice night out, and the heat was no bother.

Staff was amazing, the manager was polite & helpful.....The only thing wrong with this place is that the food was horrible. It had no flavor, tasted like absolutely nothin. Like I was eating water. A little seasoning wouldn't hurt.

Good food but carry-out service can be a bit less than ideal, due to communication and organizational lapses. Easily improved - hopeful those gaps will be remediated soon before it affects the business.

Food was fantastic, always is. Service was great too. The floors were so slippery, it's like they use greasy mop to mop floor. I almost fell 3 x's. They should have more rugs or floor grips if they aren't going to use a better mop.

I'm the founder of a seniors ministry, we celebrated one of our members 63rd birthday there on the 22nd of November! It was 20 of us! The assistant manager/server Ms Kristy amazing, she's very friendly, great attitude, knowledge of their products, patient (with senior adults), kind, professional but personable, and knows how to work a crowd with quality customer service!!! Koodos to Ms Kristy at shrimp basket, green springs hwy, Homewood!! And I definitely can't forget Lorrie, the manager, who was my first point of contact when I made the original call, who was extremely friendly, helpful, understanding, warm, courteous and professional! Everything we discussed that I need even down to who our server would be was exactly as promised!! You 2 ladies rock, I'll be back to bring a small token of our appreciation from Seniors-R-Us!-Bham ❤️. We'll definitely be back ?????

I only give it a 4 because the customer service is amazing . They're often short staffed and you can tell in speed of your order being taken .And the way the food taste . Otherwise when they're staffed great they're all the way around amazing . Those waitresses in there the main two do such a great job .full restaurant. They're still smiling and polite . Be patient with them don't be rude their desire to have a great staff . To serve us is always their objective.So if the staff doesn't fit well then boom we have the two super women waitress

Went here for lunch on a Wednesday. They were definitely having staffing and machine issues. The soft drink machine was not working and they only had one server (Jessica B. according to my receipt) but she was rocking it. She said the machine was supposed to be fixed later in the day, so hopefully that's been resolved since then. She was attentive and calm and collected even as people kept coming in and more and more tables got filled up. Service was quick, accurate and friendly. Jessica needs help, but she's doing a great job on her own. Had the shrimp and grits and my daughter had the kids popcorn shrimp. We both enjoyed it.

I love this place! Me and my family went here and we had an incredible server. Her names was auburn. She got our food out fast and got it correct the first time. We did not need anything from her because she was too quick to get it. I would recommend her if y’all go out to eat. The food was great! Oysters are yummy and the shrimp it so good. Definitely going back! Again, thanks to the service and wonderful food. My experience here was amazing!

Food is amazing…. Wife and I ate every last wonderful tasty bite… Everything was good but I will add the “Fried Catfish” was my favorite part along with the pieces of shrimp in the slaw… The only reason for the 4 star rating and not 5 star, is the portions were small for a dinner plate which left us somewhat hungry after dinner.I highly recommend!!!

I Love the shrimp basket, but they just changed last week the all you can eat menu--only have the all you can eat 3 days a week. Very disappointed and we ended up leaving to go to the water pig.
