“This has become one of my favorite places to eat. I have only ever done takeout but there is seating inside and outside. First, the food is delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken shawarma with the lentil rice and hummus. The hummus is some of the best around. The prices are affordable, maybe even a little cheaper than some places. The service is top tier. They will politely answer any questions you have and help you find something you will like. All around great place.“
“We were on the road back from florida to indianapolis and found this gem on our way. The food was awesome so the oweners. Tried Safron rice , naan , mutton kadhai and the taste was so good that we ended up packing for dinner.. The lady owner offered me some biriyani and nihari as a good gesture amd she didnt charge for those… Loved it…“
“The lamb and chicken shawerma took my heart back to Cairo. Both sandwiches were a steal as the ingredients were top-notch quality. This place rivals the shawarma of Cairo and Madinah ( both having the BEST in the world). The garlic sauce has the perfect texture and the bread is that perfect chewiness. I cannot recommend this small sandwich joint any higher. I also had the kunafa….rivals that of my own home!!“
“This is my favorite restaurant to grab lunch from in Birmingham. This location is only a few minutes walk from the medical district. My go-to order is the falafel wrap with hummus, Jerusalem salad, lettuce, and onions. I drench mine in hot sauce, but be careful, it is really really spicy. I used to get a pita, but it always ripped apart and made a mess while I was eating it. The restaurant gets really busy during lunch hour, but the line moves very fast. The staff is also very friendly. I wish this restaurant was open for longer hours. They opened a second location in Hoover, but it just doesn't taste the same.“
“I’m not from here . My fiancé and I came in I was very very happy to have actual authentic food . Even down to the side items and garnishes. I’m not Indian but I’m from Sahel . I love eating other cultures food especially when you traveled or grew up around a lot of different cultures. This place made me feel like I was back at my Freinds house and her aunties were teaching me how use certain herbs we created an Indian Arabic fusion . I will be back the place is clean they’re kind very welcoming the crowd wasn’t loud or rude . It was quite but you know talking and laughing is always a wonderful thing to hear while sharing a great meal“
