“Look past where this place is, it's Birmingham, the whole place sucks, just focus on what you're ordering and don't hand out change. It'll start a feeding frenzy with the locals. Good food from a slept on eatery. Lock your doors when you go in.“

“Food prices a bit higher than other soul food restaurants, ($9.18 for 2 veggies and a piece of bread) but customer service was A1 and fast delivery of food ordered. The food was delicious and I love the fact that it was black owned. Will eat here again.“

“First time at this restaurant. Great food and great customer service. You blink and you'll drive right by it. Some great restaurants come in small sizes! I'll be going back. Shrimp and Grits were very good. Peach pie was off the chain. Trying the Ox Tails next!“

“I had posted on social media about some people in need of food . A wonderful gentleman named Erick ive never met showed up and bought plates for 7 people here . When I got there I met the wonderful owner Reggie who covered part of Erik’s bill for these families. I delivered the dinner and they said the food was AMAZING ! THANK YOU I will definitely be going back Definitely a win for Bessemer Al“

“A great restaurant to get food that is delicious and home style cooked. It is the definition of Soul Food. Definitely worth the visit to eat on a Sunday. Suggest to get there before noon or probably after 2PM. It is one price ( $18) per person that is all inclusive of all you can eat, drink, and dessert.“
