About bb.q Chicken Huntsville

bb.q Chicken Huntsville is a newly opened restaurant as of 2026. The food is incredibly fresh, and the fried chicken is some of the best you'll ever have. The bone-in drums are big, the same size you'd get at a grocery store, so a few pieces can fill you up. The array of sauces is definitely authentic. Popular options include honey garlic wings, Soy-Garlic wings, Gangjeong Wings, Secret Sauce boneless wings, and Spicy Galbi wings, which offer a sweet heat experience that is still a little savory. Some guests also enjoyed the galbi, which is BBQ beef, and cheesling flavors. The chicken stays crispy and fresh, even for delivery or in a bag steamed on the way home. The breading has a slightly addicting flavor with a hint of sweetness. The fries were completely underwhelming and forgettable, so the slaw or steamed rice may be better choices. The bowl was so delicious and the sauce is magnificent. The apple manzanita sol is refreshing and delicious. Service is pretty decent, kind, and helpful with menu questions. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. Be prepared to wait, at least 20 minutes from placing your order, so it is probably best to order ahead. The price and portion size are pretty accurate.

Tried the chicken mayo rice bowl, very delicious. Definitely recommend this place for authentic korean chicken.
Chicken is good. Dining room is sparse and uncomfortable.
Incredibly fresh food but be prepared to wait. I don't know if they're hatching chickens back there but the wait seems to be a minimum of 20 minutes from placing your order.

HOWEVER, it's some of the best fried chicken you'll ever have. Their array of sauces are definitely authentic, so if you're unfamiliar with Korean flavors I recommend sticking with either honey/soy garlic or one of the spicy ones. My family liked some of the galbi (which is BBQ beef) and cheesling flavors,...read full review
