Oxtail plate and a side of dressing and water $55. Are you serious. I’ll never step foot back in there. The food wasn’t good at all. I threw through the dressing away in the restaurant. I’m taking the oxtails home but I’m thinking about dumping them also. These soul food restaurants are getting ridiculous I should’ve went to longhorn in stead and spent $30 on a meal and been done with it.

This place has some really good food. We were looking for another place that ended up being closed and passed by this place on the way back and we decided to try it. They keep it short, simple and very sweet. You order your main course, 2 sides, a drink and a dessert for one set price. Some of the items are available every day and some are specific to that day and they do an excellent job of specifying which days items are available. We had a semi large group and ordered what was available. You can't go wrong with any of the options. I will definitely return.

I placed my oder, chicken, fried okra,sweet potatoes, roll, peach cobbler. I paid with debit card and received a number. They call my number and I picked up my order. When I got home I saw I had mashed potatoes instead of sweet potatoes and I didn't have a dessert, instead had baked beans. I returned to the restaurant in about 1 hr to get the peach cobbler. The person at the counter asked if I had ordered peach cobbler, I told her yes. It was as if I was trying to get something for free.
