Went last night for the fixed price Valentines menu at $65 per couple. Ordered 2 beers from the happy hour menu at $3 per beer. Wife and other couple split a $25 pitcher of sangria at $12.50 each. Keeping up with the total? Asked the server what sides came with the entree and she listed off around 5. We both went with Asparagus from the servers list. Bill came at $104. Not what was expected at, remember 2 x $3 + $12.50 + $65 =$83.60 + tax. Called manager and he advised he would correct the beer prices but that asparagus was $5 each markup (server never added that this was an upgrade) but he wouldn't adjust the asparagus price. (Note: 5 pieces of cold asparagus = $1 per piece as an upgrade charge) Going to give Carrabbas a.miss in future, if they offer this false pricing or not training their servers properly to advise customers of true prices. Bait and Switch comes to mind.
