I intended to visit 3 or 4 coffee shops while on a weekend visit to Huntsville but I got stuck on this one. I even went twice in one day. Their seasonal special Drink 182 was a very creative and well executed sweet treat. The El Camino habanero mocha was pleasant as well. They were always quite busy but moved so fast you wouldn’t know if you didn’t walk around the building, bigger than imagined from the curb. If I were looking for a coffee shop to work from and enjoy reliably great coffee, this would be the one.

Gold Sprint is like a second home to me, I’m a freelance journalist, and I work on my laptop here multiple days a week. The food is pretty good (breakfast burrito, hummus, and veggie sandwich are my mains) and there’s a wide spread of drinks, from beers on tap to coffee, tea, kombucha, and so on. but the real special thing about Gold Sprint is the atmosphere/vibe. The staff is super cool (s/o Kenneth), the music is chill, there is a variety of high and low tables, couches / lounge type chairs, bigger meeting-style tables, and plenty of outlets, and just a nice array of people in here hanging and working at all hours. It’s a wonderful place to meet friends, read, write, work, study, do art, etc. Also nice spots to sit outside on sunny days.
Another thing—- the bathrooms here are super clean. They do a tremendous job keeping the toilets / sinks nearly spotless at all hours of the day, and it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Anytime you walk in the bathroom here, it’s like it was just cleaned. Toilet paper is high quality too.
Gold Sprint is an absolute gem! This cozy coffee shop has such a charming, welcoming vibe, with tons of lush plants that make the space feel both tranquil and vibrant. I tried their lavender honey latte, and it was amazing—perfectly balanced, with just the right touch of floral sweetness. The atmosphere is great for both relaxing and getting work done. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I'll definitely be back!

Really good vibe. Great coffee. Absurdly expensive. 6$ for a small latte (No flavor) the most expensive coffee I’ve ever gotten. Makes San Fran and Seattle seem affordable haha

I am no expert in coffee but this place was touted as 'the' place to go in Huntsville and I was disappointed. When I asked the barista about their bean offerings he looked at me like I was stupid and brushed me off quickly and they weren't even busy. He just wouldn't help me or answer my questions without rushing me, but he had plenty of time to flirt with the girl in line behind me... Their espresso was actually tasty, but it's not worth paying $15 for two drinks and having terrible service.
