Goodland Pour House

The food was good, lil pricey. Beer was good, lil pricey. Takes a while to get a drink if it's busy.

Great lunch and awesome atmosphere

Went there after a barber messed up my hair cut…. The waiter , a short fat bearded dude, immediately started talking to the other table about how shitty my haircut was. I was so upset that me and my friends just left. I really wanted to try the food, but the cold hearted ness from the waiter left a lasting and horrible first impression. I will never be back and will be actively telling people to not go there.

Seated us, and absolutely no one came to take our orders. We were passed by repeatedly by servers and they would stand being the bar just talking.

We arrived at Goodland’s during the brunch menu and ordered the Dixie Dip, which was very good. After waiting about 45 minutes for the dinner menu, we ordered the pizza, corn dogs, cheese cries and brownie/cookie ice cream desserts.

I’d rate the corn dogs a 2 out of 10 — they were undercooked and had to be sent back to be remade. The pizza, on the other hand, was delicious and full of flavor. As for the desserts, they tasted like regular cookies with ice cream, so I’d give them and the friend 4 out of 10.

Overall, it was a nice environment, and our server was very friendly and attentive.

My first experience here and I must say I had a little hiccup with my appetizer but my meal made up for that 10x but all and all it was a great experience, the owner or maybe manager came out addressed the situation and that says a lot to me when an establishment does that. The service was great the young man was very helpful in recommending items. He kept me and my best friends drinks full and checked on us in the perfect way not too much and not too little. I will return to put my broken ankle in the chair next to me anytime!!! My new favorite spot!!! Thank y’all so much!!!!

I paid for a pick up sandwich and a soda and my service from the cashier Tracy could improve. Even last time I attempted to order at the bar she served even customers who came after me before talking to me. The sandwich I got was Okay at best which is why I gave two stars instead of one but it was extremely soggy in sauce. $20 for less than spectacular service, soggy sandwich, and dive bar atmosphere. I gave it two fair shakes

Checked this place out because of all the great reviews. Our server Noah was one of the genuinely most hospitable servers I have ever had with the best smiles 💙 we ended up only sharing the hush puppy appetizer because my son is a Mexican food fiend and there was a Chuy’s across the way. The brunch menu was well blended between breakfast and lunch options. Not sure why the restaurant has a Michigan banner hanging…🤮🤪

I’ve eaten at Goodland Pour House several times now and it’s become my go to place for pizza and chicken wings! I love all the beer options too and am excited to see the Flight option now.
Alyssa has been our server on several occasions and she’s awesome, hands down!!
Pizza and beer is a big motivator for me and Goodland Pour House is one of the best places in HSV to get both! 🍕🍻🤩
