Hatch is an amazing program for young adults. Teaching soft skills as well as hands on culinary skills sets these folks up for success!
their staff is so sweet and kind. if they’re ever behind on my online order, they profusely apologize and thank me for my patience. please be kind to your local coffee shop employees; making multiple drinks while having to take care of customers and dealing with the public is not easy. i love their drip coffee and specialty sodas. they’re speciality coffees are a bit too sweet for me but the flavors are good.
The coffee is okay. I did not try any of the food items. I visited the South Huntsville library location - Hatch is inside this library.
It is wheelchair accessible, lots of disabled parking, kid-friendly too. You'll find tutoring sessions happening, crochet or knitting or book sales going on at Hatch and around the library.

Hatch: Coffee With a Purpose offers an impeccable service, kind people, and delicious coffee with house-made syrups. Nestled in the South Huntsville public library, the cafe provides a peaceful and calm atmosphere, with coloring books and pencils available for both adults and kids. While not a third-wave coffee destination, it offers a solid medium roast coffee in a great setting.
