Nice people. Got dinner there based on the good reviews. Maybe it was an off night and not how they normally operate. Carne asada was cooked through and tough as leather. Didn't even seem like flank or skirt steak, more like a slice of chuck or round. Salsa had a weird bitter taste and off smell. Guacamole was also off and starting to spoil. But the service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere seemed nice. My only disappointment was the food quality

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Poor service, the food was not good, and the sodas were flat. We tried a different soda, but it was also flat. The aguas frescas tasted artificial. The prices were also high, making it not worth the money. I never went back.

I have been visiting La Alameda for 17 year! 17 years ago they were located on University and in 2010 moved to Jordan Lane.
Working in manufacturing in Huntsville this was a fast and amazing Mexican Buffet that is very easy on the wallet, has amazing service and always a smile and thank you from the owners!
I was blessed enough to take my high school Engineering Class on a field trip to UAH today and decided this is where I would take them. My kids absolutely loved the experience and would come back over and over if they could!
If you are looking for an authentic and fabulous Mexican Restaurant in Huntsville, make sure to stop by and say hi for me!!!

I've been going to La Alameda for most of my adult life. The owners are super good people. The buffet is very good. The service is very good. One of my favorite places to eat in Huntsville.
I frequent this place often haven't been for awhile my most recent visit I was extremely disappointed they have an enchilada and a chili relleno that was smaller than a cigarette box NO JOKE the Taco was watery meat with NO FLAVOR they are extremely kind people but the Food there is taking a rapid decline I hate to say I most likely will not go ever again😞 Complete waste of my 22 bucks had to leave and pay more money because of the lack of flavor and tiny portion

The staff was very kind and welcoming , but my man had the buffet and ended up with food poisoning so I definitely don’t recommend the buffet.. I had the menu food and it was pretty okay beisdes the rice and beans weren’t that good definitely not worth the money.we won’t be going back
