The food is not bad, but is not that great to justify the high end price, very dim lighting. Had better seafood at less cost
Food was really good. Michael was our waiter very friendly.
Food was exceptional. I have to try very hard to find any problem with anything. And then I can't. Mahi was cooked and flavored perfectly. So was stuffed swordfish. So was rice. So was asparagus. Even the house salad was great. Creme brulee was delicious, qns bread pudding was best we ever had. Our server was also very pleasant and attentive. Very glad we went here
I was visiting from out of town and are at this place twice in one week. First time I had the fish and chips with a side of asparagus. It was so good. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and was fresh with a great sauce. The fish tastes great. I had to pay $3 extra for subbing asparagus for fries. I didn't mind because it was good. Next visit I got the cedar plank salmon which came with asparagus and I subbed spinach for rice. I was so dissappointed when my plate arrived with two measles pieces of asparagus (with zero sauce) and I had to pay extra for the spinach. No where on the menu does it say substitutions are extra. Most places are a side for a side. I definately wouldn't have ordered this if I knew not all asparagus was created equal on their menu. This place is a joke and I won't be returning.
Went to eat at Landry's this evening and was very disappointed with the service. My husband and I were seated at a table menus were left and we waited for our server. No one came to get our drink order. Another couple came in after us and were immediately greeted and drink order was taken. We waited 10 min and no server approached us. My husband called for the manager and he apologized and did nothing else to convince us to stay. I loved there food in the pass and there service but no more. There are more great places to eat in Huntsville.
We had a great time at Landry's. Wonderful decor and atmosphere. Our service was perfect. appetizers came out when they were supposed to, the server was attentive. The GM checked in on us. (Thank you Hinde). The food was spiced and cooked to perfection.
I admit I haven't been here for years after a bad experience but my visit last week was wonderful. I had scallops and my date (who loves this place) had the salmon. We shared a bottle of wine. Oh and we also had a shrimp tempura appetizer. Everything including the service was perfect. I've heard they have one of the best happy hours around so I'm now looking into that! Looking forward to going again.
Never had a bad moment. The staff are always congenial, and willing to go the extra mile. The food is always phenomenal. The wife and have been eating here at least 18 years and can never recall a bad experience. If in search of an outstanding seafood/dining experience, I would recommend Landry's above everything else in Huntsville. As always, very well done!!!
