Vegan jerk chicken might be the best vegan dish I’ve had.

Oxtails were ok could’ve been more tender they’re not as good as the little spot in mid city plus they don’t let u substitute sides. I paid extra for what was supposed to be macaroni and it was trash!!! $40 wasted

The food is not worth the price ,this place is a STRAIGHT RIP OFF, do NOT GO HERE FOR FOOD, PLEASE…YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Sad, because I had high hopes for this place. Lively music, nice decor, good menu, decently sized dining area.

Lady at the register took my order, she wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either. She was efficient and I at least got what I ordered. Ordered my half curry/half jerk and some Rasta Pasta and sat down. Table was dirty, not sure for how long. There was a few people there but it was far from busy. Same thing for the guy that gave me my food. Not rude, was helpful, seemed surprised that I wanted to eat there.

The rice tasted like it was cooked with dirty bath water, it was inedible and the aftertaste lingers. My mouth regrets ever meeting that rice. Rasta Pasta had a good flavor. Curry was decent, spicy jerk had a light jerk flavor and a hint of spice, plantains were pleasantly sweet. Cabbage was bland but tolerable.

There are a lot of things I'll give second chances to, questionable kitchen cleanliness is not one of them. This place would make a great hangout but I will not be coming back here to eat again.

The last couple times I ordered oxtail plate got 4 pieces of oxtail. And got side of oxtail got 7 pieces. I spent 86$ and did not get my money worth. Food is good just not enough for the price. Gotta find me another oxtail spot🫤

If you’re reading this… go to Island Jerk instead.

I only got the Mac and cheese and fried plantains. I thought the food was okay. It didn’t really wow me, granted I only got sides. I would got back to try one of the entrees. I’m always looking for a Caribbean or African spot when I got out of town and this place was highly recommended. I will say the place has great music and it check the box for providing a great vibe.

If I could give a 0 that would be my choice! I used to really love this place, I’m not sure what’s been going on the past 2 years but they have severely declined. Their hours are never reliable and when they do open they barely have majority of the items on the menu. I stopped in today to give them another try and was disappointed, by 5 they were out of several items even though they hadn’t been open long. He took my order and shortly after made me aware I needed to change my selection as they were out of Rasta pasta. I took rice and peas instead, the rice was very bland and over cooked, I ordered the jerk chicken and received one piece of chicken that didn’t taste grilled with a bbq sauce that didn’t taste very good either. The taste and quality of the food has changed immensely. The owner who usually is at the register is always rude and seems to never greet anyone. I approached the desk and asked how he was doing he totally ignored me while fidgeting with something in his hand. He never looked up just said what do you want to order, I believe in supporting our smaller businesses but this one needs a revamp or a complete wipe out. I will not be back to this establishment.

First time visiting for Jamaican food. It was delicious ‼️ the rice was sticky and taste perfect. The jerk chicken was very flavorful ,tender, and the sauce was perfect . Now the cabbage I could have had an extra side of it the cabbage was perfect . Also taste my friend oxtails and curry goat was good too DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

We ordered online and was excited bout trying this food since we hadn’t had it before. Lol doing something different. I had an order of curry chicken it had excessive stock, one leg and a piece of back!!! You heard me chicken back. No one cooks the back it has no meat on it. The cabbage was good though. My husband had an order of ox tails they were 5 small pieces very lil meat but he said they were good. To owners don’t skimp out on your online orders it’s not right!!!

Y’all NEVER have white rice, it is so irritating. Not everyone eats red beans and as Jamaicans y’all should know there are certain dishes that taste better with plain rice.

When is 2 thighs and a drumstick considered a large?? Also the person that ordered requested this to have chicken only. Yet there is a pile I’ve rice and peas on my plate. Do better.

Every time I’m in town I always crave and stop by here for fresh home cook tasting food
I tried lamb never thought I’d like it but yes it is good although I am more of oxtail dinner comes with cabbage, beans and rice and a little bit of plantain

I’m so upset. Drive from out of state to bring my son to school college today. After packing and unpacking all I wanted to do was eat. We placed an order on DoorDash and the restaurant accepted the order. We then drove about 10-12 mins to the restaurant. We then sat in there for another 10 mins waiting for them to get to us, only for him to tell us they don’t have Shrimp (I ordered Shrimp Rasta pasta). He wanted me to switch out for something else. However I don’t eat much other meats other than seafood. He wanted us to cancel our whole order and reprocess it. As I’m pay another $40 for the rest of the meal. I’m just over it. SMH
