I don't think this is the best pizza, even in Five Points. HOWEVER, and this is a big however: they're a solid delivery choice and I think I caught them on a bad weekend. Our delivery took longer than normal (which was weird--we're like 5 blocks away?) and my order was wrong--my chicken parmesan somehow morphed to chicken alfredo with chicken tenders. Better half's calzone was good, though. Unfortunately, the garlic knots were burnt. Not well done, no burnt and black briquettes. This was a few months ago and the pandemic may have caused staffing issues, so I don't want to give them a bad rating. However, I hope the next order is better (and right). They're in a lovely location and seem like the NICEST people, so I want them to do well.

Excellent crust, and delicious toppings. I recommend the Mario's Special or maybe it was signature. Fabulous. My wife also loves their densely packed salad. Support local businesses!

It had been a little while since I had stopped by Mario’s so I popped in for an old favorite. The meatball sub was as good as ever and I ate every bite. The one disappointment was the lack of menu items. I asked the lady behind the register and she said they could not find enough staff to make everything they wanted to serve so they had to cut back on the menu. It is a sign of the times I am afraid.

Under new ownership and management. I haven't been since last year and some updates are noticeable and positive. I can't wait to see how the food gets updated. There is chess every tuesday beginning at 430 pm.

Mario’s used to be a really tasty place to eat . Now they took all the good things off the menu.They took away the Arcade games which ruined the whole experience. The service is great sometimes but the food just isn’t what it used to be. Very disappointed this was my favorite restaurant until now. Save your money.

I generally don't eat at Italian restaurants but the family decided they wanted to have it and so we chose Mario's because the menu looked good. We were not disappointed. Even though they currently have a limited menu compared to their normal one, the pasta portions were good (enough to take leftovers) and the pizza was delicious: but the best thing was the service. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, smiley and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and this made the whole experience a lovely dinner out with the family. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you're in Huntsville.

Mario’s seems like a really nice restaurant if they could just get some more staff hired, when I went here to get takeout I called ahead and was told 10-15 min wait but that was closer to 25 min due to the staff shortage. And they are operating on a limited menu right now with only 1/2 of their normal choices. The girl working the register said it was her last day and she was happy to be quitting so I’m worried about this place and that’s unfortunate because the food itself was great. My hot wings with the house made ranch were delicious and my mother loved her grilled chicken salad. So we will go back if they can get this place fully staffed.
