I haven't been back in a long time. My brother Al Vera Rosies original opening Chef passed away September 11, 2025. May he RIP with his great receipes He trained at Culinary Institute of America in New York and also spent time training in Mexico. He finished his career working in New York before retiring His receipes to ths day sill continue on menus in several restaurants in the state of Texas.
First of all I'd like to say as a Huntsville native, I've been dining at Rosie's for over 15 years. I have up until this last experience had great service even if the food has been on the decline in the last 5 years. However, my latest experience left me hesitant to ever go back. I've been going here for many years. The food is always good and hot. The full bar offers a big variety of drinks. My wife's favorite is the Mambo Taxi. The margaritas are tasty also. Service has always been attentive and timely. They certainly make you feel welcome! Plan to wait a bit if you arrive at core lunch and dinner hours but it's worth it. Just be aware it's a local favorite but definitely worth it!
