Great food & entertainment.
I played a show there Nov. 4th. The bartenders and the rest of the staff were all very hospitable. The service and the food was great. I like the vibe and it was a lot of fun playing for a very appreciative crowd.
Based on reviews, Shag's Rock & Sports is a welcoming bar with great music, service, and food. The staff, including Dea, Angel, Katie, Dillon, Ashley, and Tori, are fantastic and friendly, making everyone feel welcome. The food is awesome, with a BBQ burger that has that bar-grill taste, though the menu is limited mostly to red meat. Katie runs a karaoke night where things get unhinged on the mic in good fun, and the bar plays the BEST music from your childhood, including 2000s rock & pop. There is a remodeled and covered outdoor area. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the bar has started serving IPAs. It is a great experience for karaoke and good vibes, though it may not be family-friendly all the time. Support LOCAL and check it out.
