Southside Cocktail Club Reviews
The best bar in downtown Huntsville. The decor is amazing, with wonderful Huntsville memorabilia lining the walls. The drinks are well made and the food is delicious. Worth going out of your way for.
The Beef Dip Sando is my favorite thing there. It tastes like a French onion soup turned into a sandwich. Their cookies are probably the most universally loved food item, especially since they will cook them as crispy or gooey as you like it.

Tucked in downtown Huntsville, Southside Cocktail Club is described as the best bar in the area, with amazing decor featuring Huntsville memorabilia lining the walls. The atmosphere is comfortable, welcoming, and a great place to relax, with a laid back lounge style bar and a great vibe. The drinks are well made, with a great wine selection, cool beers, and a well curated cocktail list. The food is a huge selling point, with delicious options like the Beef Dip Sando, which tastes like a French onion soup turned into a sandwich, and the Chkn Dip Sando, served with a jus made from the whole chicken. The waffle tots—tater tots pressed in a waffle maker—are amazing, and the dos empanadas come with a sauce so good guests wanted to take it home. The cookies are the most universally loved food item, cooked rare, done, or inbetween, and people come just for them, though one guest wished there was more milk for the gigantic cookie. Service is self-service, with orders at the bar and food picked up at the window, but staff like Cabb constantly checked on guests and gave great recommendations. Worth going out of your way for, with limited street parking, so the Clinton Street parking garage across the street is recommended.
