This a classic sandwich shop sort of place. I chatted with a husband and wife while she fixed up a couple of awesome sandwiches. We stopped in to get sandwiches for a day out fishing. Did not catch any fish! But the sandwiches were perfect. I will be back.

Plenty of room for dining in and they have chairs where you can wait for take out. My meal was prepared perfectly and still warm when I got to my destination.
I greatly appreciated all the menu options and look forward to returning so I can try some other sandwiches. The fried pickle spears and onion rings were among the best I have ever had.

Went to Stanlieo’s Sub Villa for lunch — got the highly recommended Kitchen Sink sandwich with all the fixin’s . This is a very good sandwich. Let’s start with the bun — the bun is the foundation of the sandwich snd has to be great and their buns/rolls are exceptional. The kitchen sink is a variety of meats toasted with melted cheese! And I loved that it came with diced onion and pickles to top it off!
I have eaten their cheese steak sandwiches before and was disappointed with the amount of meat. Philly cheese steaks are usually piled with meat. This sandwich could use a little more too. But is pretty great the way that it is.
Stanlieo’s and the Kitchen Sink sandwich is a legendary institution in Huntsville so don’t miss it.
In the picture is a homemade pickled cayenne pepper I eat with my sandwiches — so don’t be thinking it came from Stanlieo’s.

Great restaurant alert!!! This restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants still open in Huntsville! The place is nostalgic and has a great vibe. Amazing service and it was great speaking with the owners. Make sure you try the “Kitchen Sink”, you won’t regret it! I will definitely be back again.

This is an iconic Huntsville place. All of the subs come with either real meat or veggie meat -- so ideal plane to visit with your vegetarian buds.

My reuben sandwich was not filled with meat and cheese. It had meat minced with salad dressing. It was the most strange reuben sandwich. It was not edible.
