The Birria tacos are to die for! Diamond in the rough type joint.

First time going here — I asked what their best tacos were and was recommended the steak al pastor tacos. Delicious is an understatement. The steak was soft and gristle was edited out, marinated and cooked perfectly -- soft, tender, moist, and flavorful. Their pico de gallo actually had cilantro in it -- this is another sign of quality Mexican food -- it contains or is seasoned with cilantro, onion, and pepper (Jalapeno or Serrano). My tacos were delicious ,I will be going back to try their enchiladas next and they have pozole soup on the weekends! The staff were super friendly and wanted to ensure I had the best lunch! Which is good because, I eat 1 Mexican food meal a day, every day. I’ll update with more info as I eat here more!

Something has changed. Not sure if they have new owners. Prices are still decent but they now charge separate for what most Mexican places include with their meals. For example, rice and beans don’t come with some plates that normally come with the meal at other places. Lettuce, guac, tomatoes and sour cream usually comes with fajitas - not here … if you want it - it costs extra. It’s a shame. I used to love this place.

My shrimp quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The queso was way too thin. I could have drink it with a straw. The management and staff are wonderful people. Truly good

Very reasonably priced. Chips were thin, crispy and adequately salted. I had a taco salad and it was so good. The beef was flavored well. Our waiter was

Best AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Huntsville!

The food is very authentic and delicious. If you want a more Americanized version (Tex-Mex), this may be a little too authentic for you. It is really tasty. I loved it. I had the birria tacos?. I'll get something else next time, even though they were delicious. I like trying new foods. Their chips and salsa was delicious.? Thedark salsa in the condiment bottle was gross, though. They bring that out with your food. That tasted like earwax ?. The Jamaican water was awesome. It's sorrel, but they don't call it that. Everything except the dark red condiment was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and professional.

My family and I have made this restaurant our "go to" for good, quality Mexican food! The staff is always great and the food is phenomenal. My favorite part is always leaving with a bag of homemade skins!

This Mexican food was very, very good - my wife and I were impressed with everything we tried on the menu - however, the menu prices were surprisingly expensive and we were unfortunately charged a higher price than listed on the menu for several items.

I went there to try a birria for the first time. It was the best Mexican meal I've had in Huntsville. It didn't take long at all for the order to get there either. Everyone was nice, will definitely be going back. For $9.99 I had 3 big birrias and I had to give the third to my dad because I was so full.Only complaint is the chips. The salsa is good but those chips are really hard in a stale kinda way.

Another hidden Mexican Gem in our fair city. Great tasting authentic food with excellent service. A bit hard to find but once you do you'll never forget it. Very competitively priced. It deserves to be in the must try bucket. Enjoy!

Loved the birria tacos, phenomenal.Like most hole in the wall places with amazing food, it hard to find if you didn't know it was here. It's right on Jordan near UAH, tucked in the back corner of a small mini-mall, between a nail joint and thrift store. It's simple decor belies it's colorful flavor profiles. The fresh made salsa, chicharrones, and chicharrones de harina apps will definitely transport you straight to the streets on south side of the border.I was a bit disappointed with the chips, they are made in house, but mine tasted like they were made 4-5 hours earlier in old oil. Other than the old oil, they lacked any sort of flavor or salt.If it hadn't been for the chips I would have given five stars. They definitely didn't reflect the rest of the meal at all.Take the time to find this place and deal with the parking issues at peak times. I chose to take out.
