Veloce Pizza & Bakery

Came here to try a slice after work on a Saturday about two weeks ago. They were having a market at Lowe Mill and so I also got to enjoy browsing some of the goods that local folks had set up.

This is an order-at-the-window pizza spot that offers pizza by the slice! You can find it inside of Lowe Mill on the first floor very close to the connector hall. If you enter by Pofta Buna, take a right and keep walking and you'll find it no problem. For the old hats, it occupies the former spot of Mountain Valley Pizza.

The lady working the window was polite and personable. I ordered a simple slice of pepperoni but they have specialty pizzas and I think you can even build your own. Given the popularity of pepperoni, my slice was available almost immediately. The price was very reasonable!

I enjoyed my pizza. The crust was somewhere between thin and regular thickness and had a very enjoyable chew. The pepperoni wasn't too oily/greasy and was slightly crispy, not floppy. For my preferences, I think it was too heavy on the sauce, but on the bright side it was a tasty and herbaceous tomato sauce that wasn't overly sweet.

Give them a try if you want a smaller portioned quick lunch at the Mill, or if you are craving pizza. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Food was 10/10 we got 3 diffent pizza options each one just as good as the next. Their treats are made from scratch and delicious. Wife and kids loved it aswell, not only is the food stellar the owner make its a welcoming atmosphere. Will be back and I recommend everyone come give the spot a shot!!

A pick up pizza spot, honestly the worst pizza I had in Huntsville, dough was chewy and bread sticks were stale.

My first time here and everything was great! The young lady taking pizza orders is professional and polite. She told me 10-15 minutes for my pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was done in less than 10 minutes.
Got home and my girlfriend and I ate the entire pizza in less time it took to make. Absolutely delicious! Even the crust is fantastic! I usually discard pizza crust but this crust is magical!
If you're looking for great service and great food this is the place!

Veloce is, hands-down, my favorite pizza place. We eat here once or twice a month. If I had my druthers, I'd eat here once or twice a week. The thing that impresses me the most is their creativity, ranging from rosemary garlic to honey to sriracha to balsamic glaze. I haven't had one yet that I didn't love.

Any time that we go to Lowe Mill, my son has to have Veloce Pizza, it’s by far his favorite pizza in town. He’s converted my wife too! The staff are always very friendly. I hope that they are able to get a separate oven for gluten free pizza in the future so that I can give it a try myself, since I have a severe wheat allergy. My family gives it 2 very big thumbs up though and highly recommend it!
