About Whataburger

Whataburger receives mixed reviews regarding its food, service, and overall experience. Many customers find the food delicious, specifically praising the patty melt, burger kids meal, and chicken sandwich, while noting the restaurant is clean and parking is plentiful. However, consistency is an issue. Some personnel, like a drive-through employee, are described as very friendly, kind, and sweet, making customers want to return. In stark contrast, other staff members are cited as rude, unfriendly, and lacking motivation, with poor customer service including ignoring customers at the counter. Problems with order accuracy and food quality are also noted, such as a wrong order, an old wilted lettuce and tomato on a sandwich, and a breakfast taquito that is now half the size, lacking flavor, and double the cost. While some visits are highly enjoyable due to good food and excellent service, others are frustrating due to incorrect orders, perceived poor quality, and unfriendly staff.
