“Amazing place to get a sandwich and an ice cream. The staff here are so friendly and kind too. I got a roast beef on rye with assorted accompaniments, it was grilled, delicious, and served promptly.
Then I got the smores sundae and it was amazing too. Lots of ice cream, rich, creamy, and lots of whipped cream.
Comfy cozy place with booths and tables and cute decor.
Scottsboro is a small town but the ice cream and sandwich love at Payne's is big and bright!“

“My wife and I arrived here in January 2024. We are in a long term camp ground. I am a early riser, and feel very blessed to have this cafe and store so close. The food is fabulous and the coffee is great. Atmosphere is so relaxing and people are very friendly. Come on by and have a early Breakfast and I predict you won't be disappointed.“
