Damon was a fantastic server. Great personality and very attentive. We will be back to sit in his section. The food was great as well.

Came in for breakfast, and we ordered the Steak and Eggs and Shrimp and Grits meals. I should have asked before ordering, but the menu does not say what kind of steak you're ordering (eg: sirloin, chopped, rib-eye, etc.). At its price point, I incorrectly assumed it would be a small sirloin. I got an abysmally small chopped steak that was not cooked as ordered. I ordered by eggs over medium, they came out over hard. The hash cakes are big, yes, but overly so, and do not cook properly, so the middle was like mashed potatoes in texture. The Shrimp and Grits came with barely any Grits, and the sausage was so overcooked it was crunchy. You can tell they also over-use the black pepper. Definitely not worth the $50 for two plates. We'll be sticking to other local diners.

So glad to have stopped by here. We kinda winged it for a random brunch spot. It was very busy and we should have probably joined the waitlist online so it was about a 40 min wait but IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

Staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Hot coffee. Warm, fresh food. Couldn't have been more satisfied. The biscuit and gravy was my favorite. I can not stress enough how fantastic it was to have a crispy but also soft biscuit topped with a generous amount of yummy sausage gravy. Really dig the crispy hash cake as well.

All in all, great time. Next time I visit the area I would 1000% come back here. It for my Texas stamp of approval lol

We moved to Alabama in late December and were looking for new favorite places to eat...well, we found one! Big Bad Breakfast has consistently delicious food, amazing staff (thank you Christina, and Elizabeth for being our go-to crew!), the atmosphere is homey, and we always feel welcomed when we go. We have some picky eaters in our family, but they all have favorite dishes to choose from when we go out to eat! They are only open until 2:30, but that just means we get our act together on the weekend to get our servings of deliciousness, or meet for lunch during the week! Thank you for having such an amazing option available to us!

First time eating at this restaurant. Really enjoyed the food. Next time I visit I'll try something different as we didn't like the grits to much. The service and atmosphere was great.

BBB is definitely going to be my new brunch spot. The food was amazing and it is affordable. The staff was great and the manager Matt doubled back to make sure that we were taken care of after he personally brought our food to the table. Exceptional service!!! 5 stars across the board!!!

Great breakfast! I was sceptical about their tomato gravy but it was extremely delicious. It came on top of my omelet which was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The way this place popped up out of nowhere. And we saw the BBB sign and immediately started making big back jokes. But once we saw how many cars were in the parking lot, we knew this was the spot to stop. Never had shrimp and grits with a brown gravy. But the way it was worth it.Also, they give you a really good variety of jellies and jams.To choose from. My homegirl and I received excellent hometown service. Our waitress was a delight. And we had a good time
