This is supposed to be a pound of chicken. This cost $15.49 + tax. Please tell me how this is supposed to feed 3-4 people? What a rip off. That will make 2 sandwiches. Also, I understand hiring teenagers cause it is probably cheaper, but please teach them how to be professional. The girl in the driver through window tonight around 7pm kept asking me to repeat my order because she was trying to talk to the other workers next to her. Will try a different location next time.

I used to be a regular. Sometime in the early year, they stopped serving sausages. This was always our favorite part of a meal from there. When I asked why, I was told that this was a decision from upper management. I was told that they would soon be replacing the sausage with something new/different. I still do not know what that was. Their food seems to still be OK, but we have lost our desire to eat there due to the change. Service has always been excellent & other food has always been acceptable, at least until about 2 months ago, which is about the last time we ate their food.
Reply to Lawlers' response: we had been ordering the sausage for more than a year, so maybe we are talking about two different items. What we were eating was not a limited summer run. I have spoken to several friends, and they all loved the sausage. It should be a regular item. I have no idea what the summer dog items are.

I recently visited Lawler BBQ and ordered a Turkey plate with Mac n cheese and Baked Beans. While I was initially pleased with the idea of trying their food, my experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, everything tasted as if it came straight from a can, and the overall flavor was reminiscent of an MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat). The quality just wasn't there for me… I MIGHT go back to try different items from the menu.

Every time I come to this Lawlers the food taste old. They give out dry potatoes even when you ask for extra condiments they don't put them in the bag. I keep thinking the next time but it is always the same. All the others Lawlers is perfect. Just don't go to the one in Meridianville. I won't be going back again.

I doubt anything will come from my review, but I would like potential customers to know should they experience the same issue.
Lawlers is usually our favorite go-to barbeque spot, arguably the best in the area. This experience was awful though, and I say that as someone who worked in food service as foh, boh, and a manager.
I ordered a large nacho and a slaw dog, the cashier repeated it back 'large nacho and a slaw dog', and then I proceeded to have half of my order missing. My friend had the exact same thing happen. We apologized for the inconvenience, even though they only had one other order and were not busy. The cashier was nice and tried fixing it. Then everything just kept getting worse. The kitchen staff complained, the manager seemed annoyed as if we were creating a problem out of nothing, fixed my order not my friends, and then went off out of sight. Laughing and coughing; even if it was joking, laughing and coughing. In an open kitchen....I understand teenagers cut up even at work, but seriously? The blonde in the back with the blue shirt then gave us and the cashier an attitude as she (the cashier) was trying to fix our issue. The cashier had to say something again about getting my friends other half of the order as the blonde was still having an attitude and the rest of the kitchen staff was cutting up and "coughing". Someone, presumably the manager, then yelled out 'we can't make a hot dog with no buns'. Why were we not informed before paying if that was the case? Or better yet, how were we then given a cold hotdog if there were no buns? Where was the issue? We didn't want to stand around and deal with the lack of service any longer so we left.
I understand working with teenagers. I understand having a bad day. I do NOT see how a customer is meant to be treated like a bad guy when not receiving half of a PAID order, let alone when it happens to two back to back, when the restaurant is not busy. I do not understand why no one bothered to stop the kitchen staff from laughing and (jokingly?) coughing nonstop in the back. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to leave a review, I don't expect anything to come from it, but just as a warning to future customers. And this is coming from two people that usually love Lawlers.

Not a lot of places will serve you a massive baked potato with all the fixings, pulled pork, and queso...but that's why you go to

Loaded potato didn’t come with any sauce or condiments. Bbq sandwich did not come with any sauce either.
They used to give this out but now apparently since prices are higher they don’t have to include the stuff they used to do. They are worried about their bottom line.
Thank you for the dried out potato and sandwich no sauce. Never will I recommend you to anyone. You totally just are sorry.
Good luck with business.
You guys do what you want and don’t care about the stuff that makes the food good. The service which sucks , the condiments that used to come automatically and just the sheer arrogance of it all.
Once again. Good luck with business. If I give you a zero then I would. I give you a one simply because your manager actually answered the phone but didn’t offer any solutions to resolve my issue. I really hope this helps some other people who actually like your food but don’t know your practices
They were completely out of potatoes at 6 pm on a Monday
Very accommodating and the business felt like home. The service was fantastic. We drove from Georgia to pickup a slab of ribs and soon pull pork. ?
