I don’t understand why you can’t sub the sausage for something as simple as an egg or potato. I can’t consume pork. Either offer an alternative sausage meat or a substitute. Bar was also subpar and not many options to choose from.

“As a Birmingham native, I already had my own go-to wing spot like most people do.
But once I found out that Exotic Wings & Things were halal, I had to give them a try, and they instantly earned a spot at the top of my list. I ordered the 10-piece wing combo, half Nashville hot and half jerk chicken. Personally, I had never tried that combination before, but it completely changed my perspective. The flavors complemented each other perfectly. Paired with the Cajun ranch fries, which were clearly cooked fresh and seasoned just right, the entire meal was on point.

“I have been gatekeeping this place for years. Their wings are the absolute right size and cooked perfectly if you ask them to fry them hard. It is the pure definition of a hole in the wall. Their prices went up but not as expensive as other spots. Lemon or Garlic Pepper is my goto because their sauces are not good to me. It is super ghetto outside with geek monsters standing around lol. The wings are fire tho. I just wanted to give a quick shout out.“

“Always love BWW, but lately it’s always FREEZING in there. So cold that you can’t be comfortable enjoying the food AND our food got cold fast because of the cold temp. It was colder inside than outside! Please fix the AC situation.“

“Decided to try this place yesterday. They are not dine in from what I saw so I ordered it through Uber Eats and had it delivered. This place had been recommended to me so I figured I'd try it. I got 1 bacon pizza, 1 Pepperoni, and a order of Buffalo wings. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This pizza was mid at best it was just okay. Reminded me of generic pizza, like if you told me it was frozen pizza I'd believe you. It was like when Little Ceasars use to be bad because we all know they have gotten a lot better over the years. The pizza was really doughy. Like right on the verge of being raw dough. They put the toppings under the cheese so it was like I only had cheese pizza on one of them. It was a floppy mess and the sauce overpowered everything. Couldn't taste the Pepperoni or bacon and the cheese was a bit bland. 6/10 The wings were pretty good even though they ignored how I wanted them cooked. I wanted them extra well done like the option gave me on the app. We did not get that. They were a bit soggy but I have to admit they were still pretty good. Whatever Buffalo sauce they use absolutely said it. 7/10 All in all this place was decent but this would be low on my list of ever spending my money here again. I have been trying to try this place for awhile and when I finally did it was a huge let down.“

“A hidden gem with delicious food. I had the cajun ranch fries and the catfish combo. It was fantastic. Smaller location, but spectacular food. There was a huge variety of things to eat, I had a hankering for catfish when I found this place. Crispy on the outside with a crumb batter and soft and juicy on the inside it was spot on. The fries where also cooked perfectly for the ranch coating and not getting soggy. Since I had both, I got to enjoy nice crispy fries with my combo and the coated fries. It would be hard to say which one was better. They were awesome as well. Great job. They were busy, so I was curious how it would turn out. Perfectly was the answer I found.“

“Honestly, the best place to get food at UAB. If you think the lunch rush is too much at HSC, just walk a little out of your way and you'll beat the rush, even at peak hours. The only downside is that there's no Wi-Fi here.

Food's great, though. Line's short. Service is good. I'd take WOW's Chicken Tenders combo over The Den anyday.

I got a 15 piece with the West Side Fire sauce!! Absolutely freaking amazing!! Wings were cooked perfectly and still hot when I got them home, sauce has a great and the hear level is not ofer the top!! I asked for my sauce in the side as well as extra sauce because I like to really drench em in a good sauce while sitting down with a cold beer and some Alabama football!! I wish their sauce cups were a little bigger but I made it stretch!! I am already wanting more and I just left there about an hour and a half ago!! Next time I am gonna try the TNT sauce!!“
