Dauphin’s Casual Fine-Dining

My husband surprised me for our anniversary w dinner at Dauphins. Amazing from start to finish! We had the seasonal pork belly starter, then he had the seasonal duck and I had the seasonal pecan crusted chicken. We both had a glass of great wine as well. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and finished w their chocolate mint ganache served cold over dry ice.

Celebrating my wife's 60th birthday at the chef's table they absolutely knocked it out of the park from the service to the hospitality to the fantastic food could not have asked for a better experience

The food was not good to me I could have went to a steakhouse and ate better the fish was frozen fish.Only thing was good on the plate was the shrimps.Everything else was horrible.And the prices was ridiculous

We have utilized this Resturant all the way back to bienville club days great view but last few times the food quality has degressed, service remains good but sometimes slow due to staffing. The dress code is not be followed as described on web site and is embracing when you tell members of your party to dress accordingly and then see people with flip flops, town jean shirts, and t shirts. You expect a better environment at a high end restaurant. Need to get some class back in evening dining. Thanks

Got in town late and we weren’t too hungry. We liked the look of this place so tried it.

Forget the weird hall/ elevator to get to the place (there was no security personal in the halls, while there were sketchy people hanging around the elevators.)

We’re seated and it takes ten minutes before the waitress got to us. Upon telling her that we were ordering a cheese plate and dessert she visibly winced.
The cheese plate was nothing special but the keylime pie was the worst I’ve ever tasted.
All this was VERY SLOW.

And the waitress held a pretentious attitude with us but was very perky with the large table next table over.

In short- nice view, dull food, high prices, awful service. Not worth your time.

An absolutely breathtaking view. Now to the restaurant— A restaurant trying desperately to be an upscale dinning experience. Based on a few visits iver the last few months, the reality is that the food is mediocre at best. Considering the quality of food and an atmosphere that welcomes shorts and flip flops, I would say attempting to be a fine dinning experience is only aspirational. You have other options…

Simply amazing! From the view to the service to the exceptional food, this place is a must for a nice dinner occasion. Such friendly wait staff, great coastal inspired dishes, and the view is phenomenal. I can't wait to go again!

Notice the way they respond to the reviews, everyone of them is a form letter. Shameful! I rather not receive a reply than an insincere form letter one size fits all. Not interested in going back! This is called BAD managment and PR.
